Little pilgrim, walking down the road of life...

Okay, first let me explain. I am asking prayer for Robin. She isn't my biological sister, but she is my sister in Christ, and I love her as a sister.

I can't tell you even now how concerned for her I feel in my heart.

For a long time, she has been in a deep, deep, depression. But recently, it seems that she has been breaking down physically as well, having blackouts, unable to walk as she once did.

She is a child of God as surely as I am, yet she tells me that she can no longer feel His presence as she once did. She believes that there is a demonic force at work within her. This would seem to be confirmed by another friend of hers, Nick.

Personally, I don't know what to think. But whatever is going on, I need prayer for her, that she would be healed and that this thing, whether it is psychological, physical, or even demonic, be driven from her. The only thing that gives her hope is her family. But she needs our prayers desperately my friends. Sad

Thankyou, Pastor Roger, for your prompt reply and your prayers. I should be able to begin speaking with her in an hour or two and find out how she's holding up. I'll update this thread then.

LittlePilgrim,

Do you have that update that you were talking about? I am still praying for her.

Sorry I've taken so long. Robin seems to be coming out of it. Unfortunately, I don't know enough details. I know the night before I began this, some odd things happened. I went to sleep, worried about her, crying out to God for her. And then I saw her in... An odd dream. But everything was all shadows. I saw her falling and rushed to pull her up. But as I did, I felt something like cold flame rushing through my body. I cried out loudly, though whether audibly or in my heart, I don't know, for her. Everything subsided then... I woke up. I don't know what happened, but I remember my first thought... I wondered if I had... Wrestled... with something demonic. I didn't know. I still don't. But for now, Robin seems to be recovering, and the strange thing is that it's been steady since that night. I'll keep everyone updated though.

Hi LittlePilgrim,

Quote
She believes that there is a demonic force at work within her.

In your earlier post this thread you said the above quote. We know from what we are told in the Bible that we cannot have an evil spirit within us at the same time that the Holy Spirit is there and we know that Jesus says that he will never leave us for we are sealed unto the day of redemption. The Bible does tell us however that we can be attacked and tempted by evil spirits from without. So it is quite possible that this is what was happening.

I will continue to keep her in prayer.
