A God of second..third.....chances

I Thank God today because had it not been for his love for me, I would not be here today. The devil had already decided as a child that I would not live. As a baby I went into convulsions, when I arrived at the hospital the doctor said had I been a minute later, I would have died. Thank You Lord. I know it was you. I began drinking at eight and by sixteen I was an acoholic, by 25 I was using Heroin. Today I am 13yrs. clean and sober. God has blessed me with a wonderful husband, and a wonderful family. My mother who also was an alcoholic is now my Pastor and she just celebrated her 20th anniversary. I tell you, I am so grateful and I really Love the Lord.

I praise and thank the Lord too, that you are here today.  You have a purpose in God!  IMHO there's no such thing as "second" chances with the Lord - He's patient and loving and best of all, forgiving!  Once you accept Jesus as your Savior, your slate is washed clean!  You are NOT GUILTY in the eyes of God because he sees you through the blood of his precious Son..... the path we walk now is narrow, he knows we're going to stumble; but when you reach out and take ahold of His nail pierced hand you will be guided home in all His Glory!
