come to think of it, I guess I've been like that most of my life, I use to get up to take care of my youngest brother when he came home from the hospital and my mom didn't, after that I guess I just didn't sleep much. My dad used to call me the night watchman because I would wake up in the middle of the night and check on all my brothers, make sure they were all tucked in and if they needed to go to the bathroom, I'd take them, I used to check the doors, then sit by the window and just...... wait .... don't know what for ......
Sounds like a worry warrior.

I am a warrior, a warrior for Christ Amen sister. What I meant was it sounded to me like your brother being in the hospital made you be very concerned for your brothers well being and therefore the reason you didn't get much sleep, setting you into a bad sleep pattern. I can see that you are a very caring person that often puts others way ahead of self so it would fit into that thought. Think about that a minute, am I not right?

Yes I see what you mean PR, I was only 9 when my mom went in the hospital, and I felt like I had to be the mom. Maybe you are right, my husband is always telling me that I worry too much, that I must learn to let go. I don't think it's really worry, but then again they always call me with all their little problems. I realize there is nothing I can do for them most of the time besides pray, I do what I can but mainly all I can do now is pray. I know worry is not from God, so a lot of the time I pray for myself as well.

The many farms I was on that belonged to my family didn't use DDT. I don't know about the farms where I hired out to.
I pray that you weren't exposed to it, DDT is nasty.
