Where On My List Are You?

What is on my list today?
What things do I have to do?
Oh, but the greater question Lord,
Is where on my list are You?

Are You somewhere after breakfast,
When the kids are out the door?
Or after all the dishes
And vacuuming the floor?

Do You come right after shopping,
Or after dinner's on the plates?
Or after everyone is tucked in bed,
But by then, it's just too late.

I need to put You first Lord,
Before I start the day.
Before the hustle-bustle starts
And time gets in the way.

I need to put You first Lord,
To set my attitude and tone.
I need to start each day Lord
With You and You alone.

Where on my list are You Lord?
Where on my list are You?


It's a funny thing about time.  We never think we have enough of it and yet "it" is not a flexible thing.  We are allotted only 24 hours each day.  The Lord was smart enough to know that no matter how many hours He gives us, we
will fill them up, often with the lesser thing.

Yes, we all have busy schedules and important things to do, but what should be the most important thing on our lists?  (Luke 10:38-42)

I plan the course of my day, as do each of us.  We decide Who and what comes first.

I need to get my priorities in order.  What about you?
