Awhile back I had posted that I had a crucifix in my room that seemingly flew off the wall. I'm sure many read it because I had quite a few responses to it.

Remember I told you that it was on a wall over the bed, and upon going back upstairs that day it was now face up completely to the side of the bed which meant one thing- it didn't just fall down. It was seemingly moved, but untouched by human hands.

Having been Catholic I held on to this crucifix for years, and when ever I moved, the crucifix moved right along with me and was hung every where I lived. Then I began thinking like most others here who are not of the Catholic faith.

After this incident I took it to mean that Jesus was no longer on that crucifix, he is now seated at the right hand of God and therefore should not be depicted as still on the cross. Because of this, I dismantled Jesus, so to speak, took him from the cross, and replaced the crucifix with a cross which now hangs from the same spot.

It was January 1st, 2003 that this unexplained phenomenon occurred. I now know the cause and the reason for this happening.

My father died January 2nd of this year; I just found out about it. We were estranged from one another for quite some time, but this crucifix was hung in my bedroom as a child. It was one of the very few (if any) things that linked the both of us to one another.

I know now that even after all those years of separation that during his death, his thoughts were with me. I thank God for that message that he never really forgot about me, and that  he really did love me afterall.

May God bless and keep him; I know I will see him once again when I too arrive at the House of the Lord.

Hi Alfie,

I remember reading about this before the website was hacked. I am glad you have found closure to your question.

BTW it's great to see you back on the forum. I've been off most the summer, due to kids at home and to busy or hubby hogging the computer.
                                        God Bless you

Symphony,

I believe there are so many signs that the Lord gives us each and every day; sometimes though they are very hard to decipher, and sometimes we can only link them once the event has passed.

I constantly try to stay "in tune" because I know it all has a reason to it. This one to me was especially meaningfull. I thank you, too, Symphony, for always being there as my Brother in Christ.

God bless you,

Alfie
