My name is Lee I'm from the Quad cities area of Illinois, forty five years old, married with five kids, two grand kids. I want to be open with all right away. I have been trying to walk a christian life for a couple of years, and I say trying because I just keep falling down, this has to be one of the hardest things I have ever done, I don't know why but now I can't seem to want to quit, I feel the need to know Jesus, not just of him. Well I'm glad to be here and hope to make some new friends on my travels

Welcome Lee!!

We all have our ups and downs in our Christian lives. There is no irony that our ups always involve yielding to God's will. Those are our happiest times, even though we were never promised an easy life here on earth. Lee, I sincerely hope that you enjoy Christians Unite.

Jump in and have some fun.

Hi Lee!
Welcome!
Mat 11:30
"My yoke is easy, my burden is light"

Don't make loving Jesus hard - it's easy!  The first step is to accept the fact that Jesus loves you more than anything.  When He says 'anything' - He MEANS anything!

It's pretty hard not to love someone who, because He loves you so much, laid down His life for you.

Just talk to Him.  Tell Him everything.  Before you know it He'll be your best friend.  It's just between you and Him.

He understands - He deals with about 6 billion of us a day.  But He still knows the number of hairs in your head.  Grin

God bless - enjoy your fellowship at CU.

Welcome Lee!

From someone who has stumbled more than a few times too, don't loose heart.   Christ already paid the price for our sin  Smiley

Phi 1:6  Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Hows that for confidence?   Wink   Let Him do the work....your job is to yield to Him, trusting and believing He already has.

Grace and Peace!
