Do you know that there are some "Christians" who believe Jesus and satan are figurative, and just about everything else in the Bible?
You mean "Christians" like Jane Fonda?  Grin
http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=44265
The sad part?  Jane Fonda actually has a following and that following will believe what she says.

God Bless us everyone!
JN

Don't get me started on Jane Fonda's works and beliefs.  Lips Sealed

That is a very sore and lengthy subject in itself for Christians and Military Veterans.

Take this challange ..do a word search of  shortly and of at hand compare the context meanings.

I have.

Have you also looked at the various meanings of what these words/phrases mean in each different passage Reba?   There are a few different words for "quickly" in the greek having slightly different meaning, used in various places.

"I am coming quickly" could also be read...
I am coming soon/at a fixed time/swiftly/suddenly etc.

Time is at hand = near/neigh/ready/fixed point in time etc.

If Jesus says He is coming quickly and hasn't come yet, which sense of the word did He mean?     Same for the phrase "time at hand"....near, ready or fixed point in time?

I know we differ on these things Reba, but I'm fine with that.   Gods Will shall be done as He intended it.   I feel certain we can find unity in that!   Smiley

Brother, I don't want to hear about Hanoi Jane. She did enough damage to our soldiers, in Vietnam.
