Christ who is our life

I'm seeing in so many ways,
"I give my all to you" has been an empty phrase
I"ve sought something of myself to praise all along

But I trust the seed of your life in me
to grow into a mighty tree
     with the roots so deep
     with the branches so high
bearing fruit of the one in whom I abide

In all my efforts to go higher
of seeking self I never tire
I've been running from the altar fire, all along

But I trust the seed of your life in me
to grow into a mighty tree
     with the roots so deep
     and the branches so high
bearing fruit of the one in whom I abide

Col 3:3-4
3. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4.When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
