Let's see...i have a few things that irritate me...lol.
1) Some people should have their pictures taken off of their liscenses and their licenses revoked. I almost had a head on collision with someone who was trying to do a u-turn on a blame HILL that has a BEND in it!! So I didn't see her until I was right on top of her and this was YESTERDAY...lol.
2) People who put up fronts. It irritates me when people will put up fronts because they don't want to discuss anything or fix the problems. They just want to sit and mope in their depression. Then I have to find some way of tearing down the walls, without hurting them in the process. If you want help, talk, I enjoy breaking down walls, but I hate doing it if it can be avoided.
3) People who go to drugs to fix their problems instead of working it out themselves or relying on someone to help them. There are trained professionals to help with certain issues.
4) People who give criticism without knowing the whole circumstances behind what they are criticising. For example, I recently was told by my pastor that he would like to read my Sermon and look over it before I preached it because someone in the Congregation had a concern with what I preached. I told him, jokingly i might add, "What if I wanna keep it a secret?", and he said "And it may be the last time you preach in that pulpit." I'm 17 years old and mature enough to sit down and talk with the person who has that concern. If they have criticism and wish to come and talk with me one-on-one, then I will sit and listen with them. If it's something with my delivery that I can fix, I'll do that, however, if it's something Scriptural, I can't change Scripture to suit them.
5) People who don't take good advice when it's given to them because the consequences of their actions will far outweigh any good that will come of it. For example, I have a friend and last week was spring break. She's one of my Fellowship of Christian Atheletes Officers. Well, before she went to the beach, I told her, now don't you go down there and do something stupid. I know how things go down and the beach during spring break. Keep your nose clean. Well turns out, she got drunk and called one of my other friends to drive 2 hours to pick her up because she didn't know where she was at. I told her what could have happened, but she didn't listen.
6) People who complain about doing a job in the church. I'm not saying this to down anyone, but, at my church, we have a few people who think they need to do everything that comes out of the church. It's as if they treat it as a job. At the Youth planning meeting, all I hear is complaining about how one or two don't have enough time for the meeting and that they are soo busy. There is simply no joy that i'm seeing from it. So I told them at the last meeting, if you're called to this position, stay, if not, then leave. If you're going to see the Lord's work as a JOB, and you're not called to do this, then don't stay, but don't complain if you think you have too much on your plate. If it's meant to be done, the Lord will bring someone qualified to do the job, and someone who will do it without griping or complaining.
Well, those are the 5 I can think of at this moment...lol. Thanks for reading. God Bless
Joshua
