PEPSI, I REPEAT PEPSI, IS NOT PUTTING OUT A NEW PATRIOTIC CAN WITH THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE ON IT ELIMINATING "UNDER GOD".

THIS IS A VICIOUS RUMOR THAT IS BEING CIRCULATED AS TO GET CHRISTIANS UP IN ARMS AGAINST THE PEPIS CORP. IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED AN E-MAIL ON THIS, DIREGARD IT. IF YOU HAVE FORWARDED ANY SUCH E-MAIL TO ANYONE YOU KNOW, PLEASE CONTACT THEM IMMEDIATELY TO LET THEM KNOW THIS IS NOTHING BUT A RUMOR.

Send the e-mail back and tell them it is a lie! This is a straight lie! They said the same thing about Dr. Pepper when 9-1-1 first started. GO to any Urban legend site and look this up, either Pepsi or Dr. Pepper, and they will tell you the same thing I am now. I’m a Classic Coke man my self, but if you like Pepsi, drink up! There is nothing to fear! It is all just an ugly, untrue, rumor!

But please, send what I have told you to the people who sent it to you. If christians go up in arms everytime we hear a romur like this, they are going to laugh at us and blow us off when sometime we REALLY need to make an issue about comes up! Thanks a lot.

Thank you so much. I have superceded my last post so that it now reads correctly. I can't thank you enough.

The e-mail I received came from such a reliable source I did not even cofirm it. Luckily, I had not yet forwarded it to anyone I know.

However, I did get in touch with the person who sent it, referred them to the site you gave me, and also sent them an e-mail telling them as you did me to contact all those that received it, and let them know it is nothing but a rumor.

In going through all this, it reminded me of Whitehorse's post on "WORDS"- BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU SAY. I think Proverbs 18:13  would apply here: When you don't have all the facts.

Have to admit, there's nothing like ice tea with dinner.

Glad Tibby cleared that up for me. I once stopped drinking Pepsi for a week and actually lost 7 pounds. Now who in the world would ever want that to happen?  

Needless to say, I have since regained it. Aah, I looked too skinny anyway.   Now that's positive thinking.

I'm not real picky.  Mostly I drink water.  We have a well, near an artisian well.  The water use to be bottled, and sold, in the 30s or 40s.  There was an old gazebo, with foot pedal, ceramic fountain.  You could sneak onto the property, and drink up.  

Our well is near it.  So the water is "delicious".  Well water is just nice to have.

But I wish I'd bought stock in Coke or Pepsi.  I think they said if you'd bought one share of Coke in 1920, you'd be very well off now.
