This Easter Holiday when the kids get all their goodies, keep in mind this prayer. And maybe share it with your children so that they would know Easter has a much bigger meaning than the Easter Bunny and candy.

A bag of jellybeans has much more meaning then just a bag of colorful candy.

Red is for the blood He gave.

Green is for the grass He made.

Yellow is for the sun so bright.

Orange is for the edge of night.

Black is for the sins we made.

White is for the grace He gave.

Purple is for the hours of sorrow.

Pink is for the new tomorrow.

A bag of jellybeans, colorful and sweet

Is a prayer, is a promise, is a special treat!

Hope all have a wonderful Easter!!!!

Hi Tigerlily,

My son and daughter came home from Church with a book maker with this prayer in it. I really injoyed it and thought all of you would too. This was the first time I have heard it.

Hi asaph,

That was cute, if I had to pick what color I would be it would be yellow. That my favorite color.

Hi Symphony,

I know what you mean. Fresh is the best!!! I bought my kids the new lifesaver Jellybeans and they are sooooo good I just about have the bag gone. I have to say I am feeling guilty about that, but they are soooo yummy!!! I will buy a new bag by Easter. He, He
