Was' everybody doing for Christmas Eve?

It's about that time, now.

For me, it'll prolly just be another work day/eve.  Sort, put stuff away, maybe clean up house a little.  It's too cold to go out.

I may watch some of a video.  For some reason, it just seems like "The Sound of Music".

I think those singing nuns, and mens choir, remind me of Christmas, in that movie.

Just think, the days are starting to get longer now, bit by bit.

I will be right here, most of the night. Our Church services were held earlier, this morning.

If there is an emercency I will leave. Most all of my Church is staying home this evening. As there is alot of traffic today, on the roads.

Hm, have to change it to Christmas Day, now.   Roll Eyes

So, what're you doing today, DW?

I've been sorting - all morning.  Not presents.  Old stuff.  Accumulated family stuff from many years.  'Have real nice Christmas music playing, from an FM station, on the radio.
Broke for lunch, had a good bean soup, with my Christmas fave, oysters - just a few.

Then went outside, petted the putty tat.

It's about 33 degrees out now.  Much better.   Smiley

That's the best place to be.

It was 8 degrees this morning, but there was hardly any wind, so it actually felt warmer than its been this past week.

I had a lovely Christmas Eve and Day with my daughter and her family and then on the 27th, we had a great day with everyone together.  I hadn't seen one of my grandsons for nearly two years and it was just so good to see all nine grands under one roof.

Now, I pray that all will come to the saving knowledge or our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

What are you doing on New Year's Eve?
