May God Lead And Guide Us All

Please take a few minutes and try to answer this question:

If you somehow knew that you only had 24 hours to live, what would you do and what would you think about for those last 24 hours?

Please get a pen and paper to make a list, and try to be thoughtful and honest about what you put on your piece of paper.

Please don't forget some of the most important questions:

Are you saved, a born again child of God? Have you really accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, or do you just play act by going to church once a week?

Would you like to pray? If you are a Christian, the answer would obviously be, YES! What would you like to pray about?

If you are a Christian, do you have a heavy burden in your heart about a lost family member or a friend?

Do you know what will happen to you and where you will go in 24 hours? If you are lost, do you really think that you simply cease to exist?

Do you have questions about how to be saved and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour?

Many young people think they are almost invincible, so they don't sit down and think about the most important questions very often. The same thing is true for older people, just in a different way. If, indeed, you were about to die, would it be nice to know it and have a chance to think and pray about the most important questions?

Well, the hypothetical is not reality. You won't be given notice when you are about to die. Your age and health really doesn't make much difference. Young people, including children, die every day and every hour. Older people have unexpected sudden illnesses and die. It's also true that younger people have unexpected sudden illnesses and die. Why don't you take a few minutes and think about the most important questions right now?

Yes, today could be your last day, and this hour could be your last hour. Please at least think about the single and most important question you will have in this short life:

DO YOU BELONG TO JESUS CHRIST?

Love In Christ,
Tom

II Timothy 4:8  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Praise God and live every day as if it were your last which I know everyone can work on.

Rev 21:4  And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
