Why do these people or groups do stuff like that? I am still fairly new to all this, but just don't understand it. I have to and hate to admit it, but I used to be someone who would make fun of Chrsitians and what not (but not proud of it. In fact I'm very ashamed of it), but I would never go to the lengths that some of these people will go to just to try and get a laugh.

In His service,
Robert

One of the most well known Apostles used to torture and kill Christians before he came to know Jesus. He came to be one of the strongest witnesses for God through Jesus.

There are too many people out there today who are trying to straddle the fence. You can not do that live eternity with Jesus.

Oh well if they mock us then I feel humbled for I am being mocked just as Jesus was. I just pray that they may see the the truth and turn from there hate.

There is no fear in Christ and God is not the author of confusion. Come into His love and know peace beyond understanding.

I saw a billboard yesterday in central Kansas that said

"ACCEPT THE LORD JESUS CHRIST OR REGRET IT FOR ETERNITY!"

Why is the word of the all-loving son of God being pressed upon the world in such a hateful, fear-inducing manner?
Is this not in contrast to the teachings of Jesus?

Why do so many Christians say to homosexuals and those who partake in premarital sex that they'll "burn in hell?"
Isn't it the job of The Creator to judge our sins?

What has happened to Christianity?
Do you think that the modern political world may have commandeered the word of God for its own benefit, using the loyalty to faith and Christ that so many share in the US as a basis for doing so?

I'm so scared and confused!

Yes, ollie has a good point.

Let not your heart be troubled.   Smiley

But the billboard is right.  It is true.

Unless Jesus died on a cross to no avail.
