Thailand?!   Wow, that should be a trip.  Business or leisure, or do you know?

Yes, I've followed down your links there.  Very nice art.

On your photos, the one of the lion, 6/05, how did you get that one??

   Huh

Yes, it's a pleasure trip for Janet and her husband to Thailand...nearly 4 weeks!  Just lovely for her.

The lion was lying right beside my car.  My little granddaughter wanted to go to the African Lion Safari which is very near to Guelph and so we went one day and that's when I took that photo.  I stopped the car and cleaned the window a little bit and took it right through the glass.  That lioness was very near the car.  I didn't use much zoom at all.

wow, it's a good shot.

I'm undecided which of yours I like best.  At first i thot it definitely the blue hyecinths(sp).

Hm, I just now see you add one today!!  Of the puppy dog?

Of course, yours fall into categories.

I like the one of your dog on the bench.

But I would like it for different reasons than like the city scenes or the landscapes.

I've been trying to figure out what makes yours work.

Because you have such a range of subjects, at first it's difficult to find a common theme.

But I think you're a "design" person.  You have an eye that recognizes, regardless of the subject matter, what makes an interesting pattern, arrangement or design--in terms of lights and darks, contrast, shapes, hues...

Yep. I think that's it.  You are a design person.

Look at the tombstones.  It only gets one vote.  But I'll betcha it would win at an art show.

The kitty cat one is tops too.

Hi all, I live out there somewhere. Off in the top-middle of the picture is downtown Phoenix, Arizona. It gets very hot here during the summer time, but it's a dry heat. For all you snow pushers, some day maybe I'll get a chance to play in it. Grin

At those moments when the word God ceases to be simply a word and becomes an underground hot-spring erupting a geyser of light, love, beauty, and life from the heart to everlasting life through Jesus Christ.

Wow!  Amazing photo of Phoenix.  I've never been there.  And who's walking down the rocks?

Thanks for the thoughtful comments, Symphony.  Much appreciated.  I thought that the dog on the bench is quite an emotive photo.

Never been called a "design" person before.   Grin
