In The Garden
Words and music by Charles Austin Miles - 1913

Genesis 3:8
"And they heard the voice of the Lord God
walking in the garden, in the cool of the day:"

I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses.
            And the voice I hear, falling on my ear;
            The Son of God discloses.

                  Refrain
                  And He walks with me,
                  And He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own,
                  And the joy we share as we tarry there;
                  None other has ever known.

He speaks and the sound of His voice
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,
And the melody that He gave to me
            Within my heart is ringing.

                  Refrain
                  And He walks with me,
                  And He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own,
                  And the joy we share as we tarry there;
                  None other has ever known.

I'd stay in the garden with Him
'Tho the night around me be falling,
But He bids me go; through the voice of woe,
His voice to me is calling.

                  Refrain
                  And He walks with me,
                  And He talks with me,
And He tells me I am His own,
                  And the joy we share as we tarry there;
                  None other has ever known.

Ahh... you are tugging on my heart.  This was THE very first song that became a favorite of mine when I first started going to Church at the tender age of 6!!!

Yes Today by ApologetiX
Parody of "Yesterday" by the Beatles
(Psalm 95:7-8; Hebrews 3:7-8, 3:15, 4:7)

If today you should hear His voice don't turn away
Now's the time that you should kneel and pray
And finally say yes today
Suddenly you might have to spend eternity
In a place you never want to be
Say yes today and just believe
Christ – He died for all -- there's no soul He wouldn't save
There's just one thing you have to do – say yes today
"Yes" today seems like such an easy thing to say
All you need is faith, so why delay?
Say, "I believe," and "yes" today
Why you might say no, I don't know ... I couldn't say
I'd say something's wrong if you don't say "Yes" today
Yes, today might just be your final chance to pray
All you need is faith, so why delay?
Say, "I believe," and "yes" today
Mmmmmmmmm
Hebrews 3:15
As has just been said:  "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in
the rebellion."

Let My Lifeson Sing To You
by: Casting Crowns

Empty hands held high
Such small sacrifice
If not joined with my life
I sing in vain tonight

May the words I say
And the things I do
Make my lifesong sing
Bring a smile to You

Let my lifesong sing to You
Let my lifesong sing to You
I want to sign Your name to the end of this day
Knowing that my heart was true
Let my lifesong sing to You

Lord I give my life
A living sacrifice
To reach a world in need
To be Your hands and feet

So may the words I say
And the things I do
Make my lifesong sing
Bring a smile to You

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Let my lifesong sing to You

Redeemer
by Nicole C. Mullen

Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning
Who told the ocean you an only come this far?
Who showed the moon where to hide 'til evening
Whose words alone can catch a falling star?

Well I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives

All of creation testify
This life within me cries
I know my Redeemer lives

The very same God that spins things in orbit
He runs to the weary, the worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I'm broken
They conquered death to bring me victory

Well I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives

All of creation testify
This life within me cries
I know my Redeemer lives

To take away my shame
And He lives forever I'll proclaim
That the payment for my sin
Was the precious life He gave
But now He's alive
And there's an empty grave.

Well I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives

All of creation testify
This life within me cries
I know my Redeemer lives

Midnight Cry

I hear the sound
Of a rushing mighty wind
And it's closer
Than it's ever been
I can almost hear the trumpet
As Gabriel sounds the call
And at the midnight cry
We'll be goin' home

When Jesus steps out
On a cloud to call His children
The dead in Christ shall rise
To meet Him in the air
Then those that will remain
Oh, oh they’ll be quickly changed
And at the midnight cry
When Jesus comes again

I look around me
I see prophecies fulfilling
And those Signs of the time
They're appearing everywhere
I can almost hear the Father
Say,  “ Son go get Your children”
And at the midnight cry
The Bride of Christ will rise

I can almost hear the Father
As He says “Go get Your children”
And at the midnight cry
The Bride of Christ will rise
And at the midnight cry
The Bride of Christ will rise

I love this song too.

JEREMY CAMP LYRICS

"This Man"

In only a moment truth
Was seen revealed this mystery
The crown that showed no dignity he wore
And the king was placed for all the world
To show disgrace but only beauty flowed from this place

Would you take the place of this man
Would you take the nails from his hands
Would you take the place of this man
Would you take the nails from his hands

He held the weight of impurity
The father would not see
The reasons had finally come to be to
Show the depth of his grace flowed with
Every sin erased he knew that this was
Why he came

Would you take the place of this man
Would you take the nails from his hands
Would you take the place of this man
Would you take the nails from his hands

And we just don't know the blood and
Water flowed and in it all
He showes just how much he cares
And the veil was torn so we could have
This open door and all these things have
Finally been complete

Would you take the place of this man
Would you take the nails from his hands
Would you take the place of this man
Would you take the nails from his hands
From his hands
From his hands
From his hands
From his hands
From his hands

Favorite Bible Quotes 9 - 1 Corinthians 13:8-13 Charity never faileth:
but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be
tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish
away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that
which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done
away. 11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a
child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away
childish things. 12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then
face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I
am known. 13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but
the greatest of these is charity.

No Condemnation in Him

A couple years ago my local Christian station used to play a version of Amazing Grace that I absolutely fell in love with.  Since I was unfamiliar with the artist I could never remember his name.  I would look whenever I was wanting to buy a new CD and just couldn't figure it out.  Nothing seemed to fit in the titles.
Finally, a couple of weeks ago I contacted the station via email and we emailed back and forth a bit, with suggestions and failures.  I was getting so discouraged, thinking I'd never find it again and the song would be lost to me.
I desparately sent out an All Points Bullitin in an email at work and low and behold one of my coworkers knew exactly what I was talking about!

It is "Grace Like Rain"! by Todd Agnew!!

As I said, I'm not real familiar with this artist but I went out and bought the CD right away.  (Actually, I didn't go right out...I found it on Amazon!)  It came yesterday and I am enjoying it this morning while I wait for my daughter to pick me up to spend the night and cook tomorrow at her place.

I am loving this CD.  I bought it for that one song, but this guy has a "bluesy" sound, and I've always loved Blues!
....Aren't you all just tickled pink for me?!   Grin

Right now, I have playing "Blessed be your Name" by NewSong

Blessed Be Your Name
In the land that is plentiful
Where your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be your name

Blessed Be Your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed Be Your name

Every blessing you pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in
Still I will say

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

Blessed be Your name
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's 'all as it should be'
Blessed be Your name

Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your name

Every blessing you pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in
Still I will say

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious name

You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord Blessed be your name

I listen to Stephen Curtis Chapman, Amy Grant, Twila Paris, and Carmen.  I also like the Gaithers and Southern  Gospel Music since I am from the South wher we still believe in old-fashioned Chriistian values and good Christian mlusic.
