Jesus is Our Bridge Over Troubled Waters

In so many ways, I would not know where to start nor where to end. I have never asked because somehow I was thinking that it would be so selfish of me for no one is without pain or problems.

But my heart is aching so for my old dog who is ill and I know she is in pain. She is family to me, and I cry for her as I type this to all of you.

Please pray that God be mercyfull to her, and take her sweet and gentle spirit so that she knows no more suffering. I ask this in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ and Savior.

Thank you all so very much.  Cry

Alfie

Alfie,

My heart goes out to you, Alfie....and I can sympathize. I am in the same place with my 12 year old little dog. She suffers congestive heart problems and is on 5 heart pills a day. These precious little creations make their way into our hearts and give us so much joy.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Alfie and I come before you and thank you for being our loving Father. You have blessed us in so many ways, and our hearts are thankful.  We together want to thank you for the joy of knowing our pets. Father, thank you for all the different creations you made for us to enjoy.  Father, it is hard to see something we love suffer. I ask that your touch of comfort would be upon Alfie's dog. Father, when it is her time may her time be swift and peaceful.  Grant strength to Alfie's heart Lord...may she just fill your presence so near and full.

In Jesus Name.

Symphony & Maryanna,

I thank you both from the bottom of my heart for your prayers and your kind and beautiful words.

Maryanna- Quote: "These precious little creations make their way into our hearts and give us so much joy."

Amen.

I will also pray for your little dog who is also ill.

May God grant us all the strength of heart we so desparately need.

God bless you both,

Alfie

I'm glad you asked for prayer. It's *never* selfish to do that. We're all here together to help carry each other's burdens. I'm glad you did say something so we can lift you up, too. Pets become a treasured part of the family. It hurts to see them suffering.

I'll pray for you. Blessings and comfort to you.

Whitehorse,

Thank you so much for your kindness, and comforting words.  Yes, they are such treasures to us, and I can feel her every pain.

Funny how we can touch the lives of others without really knowing them, and make life a little kinder.

Blessings to you, Whitehorse.

Thank you all.

Not doing too good. I am mourning the loss of my dog who I had to put to sleep last Friday. We could do no more for her pain.

May God welcome her sweet spirit into his kingdom where she will be waiting for me.  Cry

God bless you all for your thoughts and prayers.
