02-29-2004 - Willowbirch - "We got a visit from some relatives last evening...Grandma's very ill, and may not have made it through the night...we're going down today to see if we can be with her in her last moments. I must admit - I was never strongly attached to my grandmother, so I will not come to a great deal of grief over her passing, but my mother is having a rough time. Please keep her and other family members in your prayers as we deal with this."
02-27-2004 - Learning_disciple - "I would appreciate it if you all would please pray for my brother and sister in-law that God would deliver them both from pride and arrogance and teach them both humility.Their names are Jon and Jenny." She is head strong and has a serious problem being told what to do. They are refusing to heed the advice of elders, his father and mother. They have a one year old daughter that the neglect most of the time as they are off doing their own thing. "They have a nice house and a lot of material possessions, but they seem to care more for their things then they do any thing else, including God, even though they go to church it is mainly for show. Please pray that God would deal with them concerning their wrong attitude and pray that God would lead them to repentance and faith in Christ."
02-24-2004 - Coyote - There is no more joy and peace with my work, and I get angry with my boss and all of my subordinates. I feel that I'm on the verge of breakdown, but I have four years left on this enlistment. "I need help, I feel so helpless. I know I am not alone, I know Christ is here with me, I do not doubt my faith at all. I am just a little scared of my temper, my emotions, and my future." Please pray for me.
02-23-2004 - Reba - "I dont think it is a good idea to post IMs but judge can judge me for ifin he wants He goes in at 5:30 in the morning Pacific time... below is his statment "Not outpatient. If everything goes "normally" I should only have to stay 24 to 48 hours - it pretty much depends on what they find once they get in and try to get the blood flowing. Worst scenerio - they will do an immediate bypass if things look really bad. Best scenerio - they can get some temporary blood flow and I can put off bypass for a while."
02-13-2004 - Paul2 - I bought a Bible for a friend on Monday and wanted to highlight various important passages when a disk in my lower back slipped out. It seems that Satan wants to stop me in preparing the Bible I want to give to my blacksmith friend, Scott. The pain is unbearable, but I gritted my teeth and spent 6 hours preparing the Bible for Scott. I had the same problem in 1998, and I went to the doctor. I've done construction work for over 20 years, and xrays indicate the spine of a 75 year old with chips, divits, and places where the bone was turned to powder. Right now, I'm miserable with pain, have to brace myself to stand only to fall on my face, I can't sleep, and I can hardly breathe when I move the wrong way. Please pray for me and pray that Scott will be led into a true saving faith in Jesus Christ.

02-03-2004 - Willowbirch - "My mother is going in for an Alzheimer's test today, to see if she's got it...she has been very depressed lately, and needs some encouragement from the Lord. She has watched her mother mentally dying with Alzheimer's, and is afraid. I am "cheering" her as well as I know how, but some extra support would be wonderful! (Her doctor may not put her through tests today, but may reschedule.)"

Five years ago it got worse due to the side effects of a tablet for asthma. My hands and my legs are the biggest problem. I pray continually for relief and try new products so maybe soon I will have relief. Also pray for my Mother in a care home. She is 87 and we have always been very close. Pray that she will be as content as possible."

A few years ago I allowed porn trash into my christian life knowing all the time that it was wrong. I am ashamed that I even let the devil pull me into to this but I take responsibility for it because I allowed him to pull me in. So now I ask for your prayers to help me overcome this trial in my life so I can get back on track with God and put this mistake in the past where it belongs. God Bless You All!!!"

Also, please pray that we will be able to adopt her 2yr. old son that she left for us to raise. Lastly, please pray for our finances. I feel i am at a crossroad and don't know which way to turn...I thought my life was all planned out. I knew what I wanted to do and I was headed in that direction. Now it seems as if a road block has been thrown up and I don't know where to go..Pray that God will make known to me what direction to take...waiting in the Lord. Be still and know that I am God.....I'm trying"
01-08-2004 - JudgeNot - "In November 2002 I suffered a heart attack. I had another in July 2003. Since I am a relatively young man (48), I considered it all a temporary anomaly." A recent trip to the cardiologist indicated a poor prognosis. Was he telling me that I have two years left to live? That's what it sounded like to me. "I feel so healthy – it is just so hard believe the doctor! Am I afraid to die? Not at all! Nothing is more attractive to me than heaven. But I am afraid for Charity, my 17-year old daughter. The thought of leaving her makes me very sad. She is saved (praise Jesus!!) and I know we will meet again should my demise come soon. I actually haven’t even told her – I don’t want her (or anyone else for that matter) to treat me any differently. Please pray for me – and especially for my daughter, that if and when I should pass into Jesus’ hands she will remain strong in the faith and continue loving the Lord. Thank you all so much. Jim"
