My husband David met someone and filed for divorce.  Our court date is set for August.  David is living with this woman, he is drinking, he is using foul language and he is very angry and hostile.  He is a Christian.  Please pray that he will repent and return to the Lord and that our marriage will be completely healed and restored.  I have already forgiven him.  I am just worried about him and I love him very much.   I believe in the power of prayer.  Love in Christ, Suzanne.

I'm sorry, Suzanne.  I'm praying for you, and that your relationship with Jesus will grow moment by moment, hour by hour, day by day, stronger and more genuine in His name,

and for your husband too

and for your marriage...

In Jesus' Name..

Praying he will repent, that God will be at work in his life and especially yours for whatever his will is for you.

May God comfort you and give you peace.

I'm praying for you; I know this is a very difficult time for you. I pray God will grant you a special measure of comfort and peace, and that he will repent and come home.

Blessings to you.

Comforter, I think he's the one who needs to shape up...

Dear Heavenly Father,

I lift up precious Suzanne to you Lord. Her heart is broken over the behavior of her earthly husband. Father, I ask that your Holy Spirit would bring great conviction upon David, since he does know you.  Let him find no solace in anything else but you Lord. Break his heart Father to see the sin and pain he is causing and in the same turn let him remember your gift of Calvary. Refresh his heart Father to remember your love. Let him stand once again before you and remember that he is a sinner saved by grace.  Oh! Father contend with him...let him not rest until he returns repentant at Your feet.

Father, grant Suzanne your grace to standfast in prayer and feed on your word. Let her dwell in thought that she is your beloved bride as part of your church.  Father, grant her strength from her memories of goodtimes with David to know that you can restore their marriage.  Let prayer be her theme and her covering.  Let a hedge of protection be about her and let not the enemy rob her of her joy. Let her recognize the voice of condemnation the accuser will send and let her not receive it.  But let her heart and voice praise you for all you are going to do and all that you have done in her life.
Let Psalm 119:114 be her heart's cry: "You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word."

In Jesus Name.

Psalm 9
1   I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.
2   I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

Wow.... This sounds like the same thing I'm going through with my wife. She is a Christian and is behaving the same way as you describe your Husband is.   We meet with her lawyer on Tuesday.

I feel for you and will pray for you . I know this is probably the hardest thing you have ever faced.
God is our refuge and our hiding place.

Hello Dave,

This will be a matter of prayer, especially for Tuesday. Someone would have to stand in your shoes to really understand how hard something like this is. Please let us know if you want to talk about this. In the meantime, I'll be praying that God works everything out for your good.

Romans 8:24-28  For in hope were we saved: but hope that is seen is not hope: for who hopeth for that which he seeth?  25  But if we hope for that which we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.  26  And in like manner the Spirit also helpeth our infirmity: for we know not how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered;  27  and he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.  28  And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose.

Love In Christ,
Tom
