Hi everyone!!!! I'm new to these forums, seems like an awesome site!! I thought I'd share my answered prayer with yall.
My family isn't really christian, but we went to church at christmas and easter and I never gave God much thought in my life. Anyway, one summer at camp changed all that. I asked Jesus into my heart and felt like a new person. I wanted to share my faith with others but I'm kind of shy and cared too much of what people thought of me. I still wasn't going to church and I didn't know hardly any christians. One night I prayed to God to let me meet other believers and give me the strength to reach people with his word. I asked him to guide me to people who wanted to learn about him so I could help them discover their faith. Two days later a woman from the church that I went to maybe three times a year called and was desperate for a sunday school teacher. I said I would love to do it and I started that sunday. The Lord gave me more than what I asked for. I now have a great church that I go to every sunday, awesome kids that I love to death, and i'm able to teach them how to be faithful to God.
I don't even know how the church remembered me but I am so thankful that God gave me this opportunity. Praise the Lord!!!
