I really don't want to see Saturday Night die out-I think it's so great when we can pray together. I'd like to pray for our forum in general, too, that God will use our fellowship for His glorious purposes. That's always so exciting to me, not knowing what He's doing, but knowing there's something huge and wonderful on the horizon. Preacher Michael Youssef said we recieve little because we ask little. He also said that when Alexander the Great was asked for a large sum of money for a purpose, he was advised not to give it, the reason being that the purpose could be achieved with less. But Alexander the Great said, "I like this guy. He thinks I'm both rich and generous. Give him everything he asks." And God is the same way with our godly, spiritual requests. If we ask big, we get big! Grin

Love in Christ,
Whitehorse
Amen! Saturday night is a wonderful thing for CU!

May God Lead And Guide Us All

Oklahoma Howdy to All,

I would first like to say thank you to a special friend and brother in Christ who has a big heart and has helped all of us to remember each other in prayer. Thank you Symphony for your love and care. I know that Symphony also has a heavy burden on his heart for difficult tasks in his community. I would ask that we all remember Symphony in our prayers that God gives him guidance and peace in whatever way God leads him. For all of us, I ask for bigger hearts of Christian love, the knowledge that God's supply of Grace is never ending, and the knowledge that our joy and peace in Christ grows as we each yield to HIS will and purpose in our lives.

Dear Heavenly Father,

You know each of our needs, spoken and unspoken. We ask that You guide and lead us in the work You want done in Your Name. We know that You listen and want to hear our prayers. We ask that You take control over our lives and help us do things that are pleasing in Your sight. We ask for more of Your Grace in giving us hearts of love and compassion for others. Lord, we all have burdens for work we want to do in Your Name. Help us to do all within Your will and light the path You want us to take. Lord, help us to know about Your peace and comfort when we bring all of our burdens to You in prayer.  We ask these things in the precious name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.

Love In Christ,
Tom

Yep, others....add me to the list.  Pray that God would just impart that peace that surpasses all understanding and that we (my family) would find favor with Him.  Don't want to go into detail but the situation is serious and will take awhile to get resolved.

OK i know some of you who know me will be SOO SHOCKED lol that im back, but i been away for health reasons, but im back  and look forward to getting to know the ones i dont and reaquanted with all my friends!
Now, id like to thank all of yous who have continued praying  for me even in my absence..
i hve FINALLy been diagnosed..
i have fibromyalagia, Chronic fatigue syndrome and Temperomandibular Joint Dysfunction
and this is what i was told about it...
which has almost identical symptoms as the spondalitis, and causes extreme pain and alot of other things such as....extreme pain  in all joints and bones..fatigue, stiffness, numbness, disturbed sleep, joint or soft tissue swelling, dry eyes, an intolerance to cold, poor memory and concentration, a sensitivity to certain foods and medications and allergens, as well as feelings of weakness, , depression, tension, extreme migrain heaadaches, irritable bowel and bladder,Cold and wet weather makes the pain of FM worsen, causes some people to feel like they are on a downward cycle, cause of being in so much pain  and having no energy it makes it very difficult to maintain normal life such as jobns, house work, liesurely things as well, which leads to stress, anxiety and depression,
The specialists said there are 11-18 tender points  which are spread thru the body, and helps them to tell how bad the FM is and that it is FM and some people have  a few,  half ect, i have been informed that i have all 18, so i am being sent to physiaotherapy, and support groups who for so many weeks help you to know what things to do to help live with it, and ill be put on medications,, he said that i have to take very small baby steps and that it will most likey take yrs for me to get into  the point that i can be in control of it in stead of it being in control of me..so with medications, and getting into shape and trying to keep active, i can eventually have a semi normal life, i have been misdiagnosed for years and years.. and he said had i been diagnosed yrs back.. id be alot better shape physically and emotionally by now, so i have a long uphill journey so please keep praying for me, cause ill need it. for the pain and for the courage  and strength to keep doing what iu need to do  to get this under control!
Sorry for this being so long but thought id let yous know what yous have been praying about.
Anyways. ill be checking out the board to see whats happening, i'll be seeing yous around the site..
luv and appreciation  for your prayers and support..

Oklahoma Howdy to TigerLily,

It's great to see you back. We have never stopped praying for you. Dr. BlackEyedPeas highly recommends several posts per day on Christians Unite as physical therapy for fingers, hands, and wrists.   Cheesy   I got my PHD in an Oklahoma cow pasture.
