A new friend has arrived...

Hello to every single person in this forums. This is my first post here and as it I would like to introduce myself in a proper way. So here I go:

My name is Samuel Gonzalez. I'm an 18 year-old guy that was born in a Christian family. I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior at age 5 but later confirmed that decision when I was 11 years old. From that day on I have no doubt that I'm going to Heaven when I die. I live in Monterrey, Mexico and I studied in a Christian school (based in A.C.E. Ministries if any of you have heard about it). In October 2000 I had a problem of cancer but thanks to God I could finish my therapies and now I'm much better. My family and myself could observe the hand of the Lord in all this process. The church also helped us in this journey. About my personal lifestyle I like sports (specially soccer) and also I like videogames. I have been looking for a place like this and I really wish that I can find new friends in this forum.

It's nice to have you here, and I'm very happy to hear what God is doing in your life, especially beating the cancer.

I'm a retired and disabled police officer, so I'm extremely shy. The nice folks here on Christians Unite are trying to bring me out of my shell and helping me to speak up more often.    First, I'm a Christian who loves Jesus as my personal Lord and Saviour. I enjoy studying the Holy Bible numerous hours every day and fellowship with many sweet Christian people on Christians Unite.

By the way, Shylynne is the one who is helping me the most in overcoming being shy.
