Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life!

My daughters are 16 and 11.
They have been homeschooled for the last 6 years.
I was a SAHM and I did the homeschooling.
My husband was laid off in March of 2003.
I went to work in October.
My husband has shown little effort in finding a job or homeschooling.
I really think he is suffering from depression and could use some prayers.
I've been working full time and doing the homeschooling.
When I went into homeschooling, I felt God leading me there.
Now, it looks like I'll have to get a second job.
I have prayed about this and I feel that the Lord is leading me to put the 11 year old in public school.
My 16 year old has some disabilities and does not do well in a crowd, so I feel led to keep her at home.

My husband is very much against this.
I really need prayer that our lives will change drastically so that I don't need a second job or that he will take over the homeschooling or that I will have the strength to continue homeschooling or we'll put the youngest in public school.

We really need the Lord to step in and show us His will so that we are both on the same page.

I'm not following a God that's imagined.
Can't invent His deity.
That's why Jesus is the final answer
To Who I want my God to be.
He's Who I want my God to be.

Looks like a tough situation. There are a lot of things here that God needs to look at: your husband, work, daughters and their education, and you. I do not think you need God to step in and show you his will because you have it in you already to figure this out... with God's help of course. Just

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." Matt 7:7-8

I will pray for the strength you need to make it through.

Lord, protect, guide and provide for this family. Let them keep their eyes upon the real prize! Give this mother a special discernment in directing her children as You would have it! Bless this husband and find him work, Lord. Let no evil of depression or self pity prevail. Give him renewed vigor and direction. Keep them all safe Abba... in Jesus' name, amen
