Our God is a living God. The bible is NOT God. It is the word of God. True Christians do not worship the bible, we worship the living God and use the bible to clarify His word. Every word in the bible is true. But the bible is not God.

Millions of people in Nazi Germany worshiped Hitler as a god. Some of them still do. That's why it is so imperative that we worship NOTHING worldly. This includes books as well as people. We then start to see men and their doctrines as infallible. This is dangerous because none of us is perfect. The people in Germany paid the price for doing that. No one in the OT bowed down in prayer to the prophets themselves. They were just like the bible; instruments that God used to spread His word. So were the apostles. They were not Gods themselves and neither is the pope. NO MAN IS INFALLIBLE. Only when we turn our hearts, eyes, and minds ONLY to the LIVING God will we receive life.  "Woe to the person who says' wood, come to life!" No worldly person, book, or thing can give us spiritual life. That comes from our living God. Seeing someone's word as infallible is INDEED worshiping that person. That, by the way, is how the anti-christ is supposed to deceive people. People will believe him instead of Christ and our Father in heaven. Any time we idol worship anyone or anything in the world as being infallible, except christ or God, we are idol worshiping.

The ones who "fall away" are the ones who, by their own effort are trying to believe. They fall away because they have no root. The root is the Holy Spirit. The ones who have Christ inside them are Christ's true sheep because the Holy Spirit is more powerful than the devil. That is why NO ONE CAN SNATCH THEM OUT OF HIS HAND! The ones without the Holy Spirit may prophesy in his name, cast out demons in his name but when the owner of the house closes the door, he will say; "I never KNEW you. Get away from me, you evildoers!"  Those people were never Jesus's true sheep because they never knew Him. We cannot both know someone and not know him at the same time. We either know Christ personally or we don't.

And what's different about this post from all the others you've
started? Not attacking, just asking.
