Read this quote today and want to share with all of you:

"I've missed over 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games.
26 times I've been trusted to take the game-winning shot...and missed.
I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I
succeed."

Saw this flash movie a couple of weeks ago and want to share with you:

Oh, that sounds great!  My best worship partner is out of the country.  I miss her.....

But, I will be meeting some new friends this weekend.  I heard that some of them are great worshippers.  I am really looking forward to meeting them.

We went to Pennsylvania, our home state, and happened to see the fireworks...a very beautiful display, much nicer than usual, perhaps in honor of Reagan??? They played a lot of old war songs and hymns of victory.

Share a quote and a movie?
"From now on we'll have a sign that says, 'No spiders or Visigoths allowed.' "
From the movie "Life is Beautiful", after the boy Joshua asks his father Guido why some shops say "No Jews or dogs allowed".

Willow, that sounds like a lot of fun.  I ended up doing lots of exercises, watched a bit of fireworks and just had a quite but enjoyable time with friends and hear their latest and greatest personal stories.

From the moive Harvey with Jimmy Stewart.

"My mother told me that to get by in this world you need to be very smart or very nice.  I've tried both and I recommend nice."
