I have a friend who is not a Christian.  He denied his faith because of hypoctitical Christians.  However, later I found out that he was never even a Christian at all, or so he says. Anyone who knows him can easily see that he is mad at God. He is only seventeen and has been through more hurt in his life than I could ever imagine. I love him like my own brother and have carried this burden for a long time.  God has promised me that he will come back (Philemon 15)and I need stregnth to keep me from doubt.  He is an awesome person but he needs to find God again.  Please pray for wisdom for me to know what to say to him and for stregnth for the long run.  I believe what God promised me and can't wait to see how God will change him.

I'm praying, too, for both of you. For his return, and for your comfort. I pray that God will give you peace about the situation. There's a book you might want to suggest to him; I don't know how old he is, but it's called A Grief Observed by CS Lewis. It deals with those very unanswerable questions. In Lewis's case, he lost his wife to cancer. Blessings to you, my friend.

Oklahoma Howdy to All4God,

It's a shame that many Christians don't serve as very good examples, especially for young and tender new Christians. It is very important for him to know that he is not following men who fail, rather he is following Christ who will never fail. I will pray for both of you, especially for your friend that he place his faith in Christ, not men. Men will always disappoint, fail, and stumble in one way or another. On the other end of the spectrum is CHRIST, the ROCK of our Salvation, ONE who will never fail, stumble, or lie. I pray that you will be able to communicate this to him and that he will understand this glorious truth.

Dearest Heavenly Father,

Thank you that All4God has brought this burden of his heart before You and asked for prayer from the family of God.  Thank you Father that You have given him a burden for this special friend.  Father, I ask that You would build perseverence into All4God, increase the measure to his faith Father.  Cause him to see that prayer is depositing the Riches of Christ into another's life.

As Your children who know and love Your name, we have full access to Your vault (of word and promises) and can go and make unlimited deposits for our friends, family and any cirucumstance we desire to see Your hand at work in.  Oh! Father what a gift is this from You.  Help All4God realize that once these deposits from Your word and Your will are made; they are eternally in the life of that individual, this promise is from Isaiah 55:11.

Isaiah 55
11   So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Everything that You send will be used for Your purposes and because Your treasures are eternal they never decay. It becomes a part of the internal structure of that life to be used for Your glory and to battle the enemies strategies in that life. Greater are You Oh! Lord.

Oh! Father help All4God see that the relationship of his friend is between You and his friend. You created his friend and know him intimately and love him perfectly. You know specifically what it will take and the timing it will take for his friend to receive You. And Father, You are already at work wooing his friend into Your arms. You love Him and gave Your life for Him.   Let this young man see Your glory and experience the healing salve of Your life and love Oh! God. Speak to his heart to bring Him to a deep knowledge of Your truth and life.  Cause all that He knows of You to be brought back to his memory. Give him a hunger for You and You alone.

How great You are Father.  I also ask that You would give All4God a deep peace about just loving and being a light of Your life to his friend.  May All4God have a new heart to stand steadfast in vigilant prayer knowing that You are perfect and so is Your timing.

In Your Mighty Name. Amen.

Psalm 9
1   I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.
2   I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
