 Oh well we were thinking 'Oh Happy Day', and  "If you're happy and you know it", but it was a happy day anyway.

 Come to think of it wasn't it 06-06-06 in Iraq when that vermin was eliminated???
It did turn our to be Oh Happy Day.

Yeah that last clue gave it away.  melon  ...  collie  .....   baby.  I guess part of the problem was that I was stuck in the mindset of Gospel songs.
