They say that when we get to heaven we will be singing of God's love forever.
When we are Christians we say we are making efforts to live out Christ's love on earth.
Can your neighbor sing of YOUR love forever?
Does he or she even know your name?
If the answer is no then you're not doing a very good job at living out Christ's love.
Not a problem. We're all sinners. If we could just confess that, then we might be able to forgive our neighbor's sins too. At least long enough to live out Christ's love toward our neighbor. The persons that see us every day are the persons that we are most likely to make an impact on as to whether Christianity is relevant today.
If we're not making valid attempts to live out His love, then all our talk about Christianity is a bunch of gibberish to folks that see our works whether good or bad. It is through our good works that we glorify our Father in heaven. It's not by them that we are justified, but it is by them that we glorify Our Father in Heaven.
