Hi. This is a personal poem I wrote one night. I just feel led to share it. Let me know.
--------------------------------------------

The Story Of My Life

The emptiness I feel inside and how I try to hide,
The pain combined with loneliness amidst of foolish pride.
The choice that lay before me now of which I have to face,
A choice of utter discontent, a choice of love and grace.

Of which option will I choose, the answer seems so clear,
But yet somehow I never choose the choice that brings you near.
The days go by, the seasons peak, the little ones mature,
But yet I bleed down deep within, for truth I still ignore.

How can this be, someone like me, the wisdom I proclaim,
I speak of truth and teach of love but yet I live in shame.
Now forced to act, I bow my head, the pain too much to bear,
I call your name, in utter shame and hope you choose to hear.

O Lord I know I’ve said this prayer a million times before,
But please my Lord forgive your son, his cry do not ignore.
And as I pray, I feel my sorrow slowly drift away,
And in my heart, the darkest night now somehow turns to day.

Now once again, your awesome grace has managed to prevail,
For in a life as dark as mine, your love has never failed.
Now I can face the days ahead, for pain no more I feel,
I'll teach of truth, and sing of love and it will be for real.

But as the promise of the day will always turn to night,
So the darkness in my life will soon surmount the light.
And I will wait, then I will pray, then you will end my strife,
For such is how I've always lived, the story of my life.
