A former female Afghan judge who is in hiding from the Taliban in Pakistan has appealed to the Home Office after her application to enter the UK was denied.

Her lawyers today announced that they filed the first appeal at the Immigration Tribunal on behalf of their client Yosra, 42, whose name has been changed, and her son.

The Home Office decision has prevented the pair from reuniting with family in the UK, including her nephew who works as a civil servant.

She has been left in a 'gravely vulnerable position' following the return of the Taliban regime in Afghanistan after the withdrawal of Western troops.

Qatar deports migrant workers after wage protest

At least 60 workers rallied outside Al Bandary International Group's Doha offices on 14 August - some reportedly had not been paid for seven months.

A number of protesters were detained and some were deported, although it's not known how many.

The government said those who were deported had "breached security laws".

Since Qatar was awarded the World Cup in 2010 - sparking a wave of construction of stadiums and infrastructure across the country - its treatment of migrant workers has been questioned.

Rajouri (Jammu-Kashmir) [India], August 24 (ANI): A terrorist captured by the Indian security forces at the Line of Control near the Jammu region brought in focus the role of a serving Pakistani Army colonel in sponsoring terror attacks within the Indian territory.

The captured terrorist, Tabarak Hussain, resident of Sabzkot village, district Kotli of Pakistan occupied Kashmir, is presently undergoing treatment at an Army medical facility. Hussain was in an extremely critical condition before Army doctors saved his life.

As he recovers, Hussain told ANI on Wednesday that he had been sent along with three to four other terrorists were paid money by a Pakistani Colonel Yunus Choudhary to carry out a ‘fidayeen’ attack on Indian soldiers after crossing the LoC. Hussain received a bullet wound while his accomplices escaped.

These “centrist” politicians are far more upset that Giorgia Meloni would commit this unpardonable breach of good taste than they are about rampant migrant rape. In their unctuous self-righteousness and willful ignorance, they demonstrate why so many people have had enough of the political mainstream and are looking for alternative, and more honest, voices.

Guinea is 85% Muslim and it’s virtually certain that this rapist is a Muslim migrant who believes uncovered non-Muslim women are his for the taking. But the establishment hacks would rather scold Meloni than discuss that phenomenon honestly.

Parting shot: Google is evil. It’s hard to find a photo of Giorgia Meloni in which she doesn’t look angry or is caught in some unflattering pose. Google manipulates photo results for everyone based on how much they like or dislike his or her politics.

Children chanting 'sar tan se juda' slogans during protests against Raja Singh: NCPCR asks Hyderabad CP to file FIRs

Hyderabad: The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), on Wednesday, took cognizance of the shocking visuals from Hyderabad in which children were reportedly seen shouting slogans of 'sar tan se juda' during protests against suspended Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLAT Raja Singh. The NCPCR wrote to Hyderabad Police Commissioner and directed the police to register an FIR and produce the children before the Child Welfare Committee. The commission also asked the top cop to take action within seven days.

The police have also been asked to record statements of parents and submit an action taken report. Massive protests erupted in Hyderabad over a purported video showing Raja Singh allegedly making derogatory remarks against Prophet Mohammed.

Hamas rages at Spanish tourist who posed in ‘immodest’ clothes at Al-Aqsa Mosque

The Hamas terror group that rules the Gaza Strip launched a campaign Wednesday against a Spanish tourist who posted pictures in what the group called “immodest” clothes while visiting the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

The young woman was pictured wearing a flowing green dress with a low neckline. In one picture she reveals a leg through a slit in the dress as she sits in front of the Dome of the Rock shrine.

Several media outlets associated with the terror group ran items on the woman, with Hamas spokesman Hazem Kassam calling her a “Zionist extremist.”

Taliban Questions Biden Airstrike Killing al-Qaeda Leader, Says Body Never Found

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said in a press conference Thursday that the Taliban considers America’s claim to have eliminated al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri with a drone strike in a wealthy area of Kabul an “allegation” and that Taliban terrorists have yet to find his body.

President Joe Biden announced on August 1 that an American drone strike in the Sherpur neighborhood of Afghanistan’s capital had targeted Zawahiri, who succeeded Osama bin Laden as the head of the organization responsible for the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on America. Biden claimed the targeted strike killed only Zawahiri and that it resulted in “no civilian casualties” and minimal property damage. A United Nations report published shortly before the drone strike accused the Taliban of harboring Zawahiri, stating he was likely in Afghanistan and enjoying protection from the fellow Sunni jihadist terrorist organization.

The Taliban initially responded to the news of the strike by condemning Washington for violating its “sovereignty” as the government of Afghanistan and not mentioning Zawahiri at all. It later claimed it would “investigate” the incident and that it had “no information” regarding Zawahiri’s presence in the country – a dubious claim given widespread reports that Zawahiri was living in a home owned by Salahuddin Haqqani, a high-ranking Taliban jihadist and member of the affiliated Haqqani Network.

Protests in Iran after woman arrested for 'improper clothing'

Iran saw protests and an online outrage last week in support of a woman who was allegedly made to apologise on TV for removig her Hijab. Sewpideh Rashno (28) was arrested in the month of July after a video of her being harassed on a bus went viral online. She had had an altercation with a woman who accused her of removing her hijab while on the bus.

Activists said that when Rashno was arrested, she disappeared without a trace and that there were no information over her whereabouts. An hastag attracted lot of tweets. It was #sepideh_kojast (where is Sepideh?)

US Honours Sokoto Student Killed by Islamic Fanatics

Deborah, a 200 Level student of Home Economics at Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, was murdered by Islamic extremists and set ablaze after she advised her classmates against posting religious materials on their WhatsApp page.

In marking the US International Day Commemorating the Victims of Violence Based on Religion or Belief, on August 22, Deborah’s picture was uploaded on the website of the US Office of Religious Freedom.

The office promotes universal respect for freedom of religion or belief for all as a core objective of US foreign policy.

Growing up, I hated Muharram and Safar. These two months of mourning in Shi’ite Islam meant the already strict enforcement of religious orthodoxy by Iran’s regime would be that much more brutal. This year, Muharram began on July 30 and Safar ends on September 26. Instead of commemorating the Battle of Karbala, the beginning of the first Sunni-Shi’ite civil war in the year 680, this year Muharram and Safar might be signifying the defeat of Iranian Islam itself.

Because the religious lunar calendar rotates around the secular solar calendar observed in Iran, every child’s birthday is bound to fall during the months of mourning at some point. Once it does, it means no birthday parties for the next five or six years. Instead of celebrations with friends, we’d have secret gatherings of close family. I don’t know which was worse: missing the opportunity to spend time with my friends, or being forced to endure my stuffy old relatives!

J&K and Ladakh HC reopens the 2003 Nadimarg Massacre case in which 24 Kashmiri Pandits were murdered by LeT terrorists

On Friday, the Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court ordered the reopening of the case concerning the Nadimarg massacre in which 24 Kashmiri Pandits were brutally murdered in the Pulwama district. The incident happened in March 2003 when the Kashmiri Pandits were murdered by Islamist terrorists from Lashkar-e-Taiba.

This is after the state government had issued an application seeking recall of an order which had dismissed a criminal revision petition in December 2011 which challenged a lower court order. The order by the lower court had denied the prosecution to examine witnesses and materials related to the Nadimarg massacre.

New York Times under fire for hiring freelancers who made anti-Semitic posts

The New York Times has come under fire by pro-Israel outlets for employing multiple freelancers who have a history of making anti-Semitic posts on social media.

One freelancer whose work covering the Israel-Palestine conflict has been published by the newspaper giant reportedly praised Adolf Hitler on Facebook as recently as 2018.

Palestinian filmmaker Soliman Hijjy, who contributed to the Times between 2018 and 2021, shared a photo of himself with an Arabic caption that roughly translates to “in a state of harmony as Hitler was during the Holocaust,” according to the pro-Israel media watchdog site HonestReporting.

Taharrush in Vienna: Arab gang rapists receive sex therapy

One of the Arab asylum seekers who chased two Upper Austrian women in the Favoriten district of Vienna to their flat and sexually harassed them stood before the Vienna Regional Court today. The Algerian (17) was sentenced to eight months imprisonment – two of them suspended – and has to undergo sex therapy.

The circumstances of the crime were so gruesome that even the police spokesperson spoke of “unprecedented proportions”. Immediately after two young Upper Austrian women (19, 21) got off the train at Keplerplatz underground station at the end of June, they were harassed and surrounded by eight Arab migrants. One of the men, the now convicted Algerian (17) tried to assert himself against his companions – among them a Moroccan asylum seeker (22) – and is said to have repeatedly said: “Leave her, the girl belongs to me”.
