South Africa a growing conduit for Islamic State funds, says new UN report
By Peter Fabricius
22 Jul 2022
South Africa is continuing to provoke international concern because of its allegedly expanding role as a conduit of funds from the leadership of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (Isil) to its affiliates in Africa. This emerged from a new United Nations report this week which says that after Isil’s loss of its territorial caliphate in Syria and Iraq in 2016, its affiliates in Africa have emerged as among its most important battlegrounds.
The report to the UN Security Council by a team of experts monitoring Isil and Al-Qaeda says one UN member state “highlighted the emerging importance of South Africa in facilitating transfers of funds from Isil leadership to affiliates in Africa. The Monitoring Team is aware of several large transactions totalling more than $1-million.”

'Tweet apology or go to jail': Foreign journo says she was threatened by Taliban
July 20, 2022
Foreign journalist Lynne O'Donnell said the Taliban in Afghanistan asked her to tweet an apology or go to jail for articles on forced marriages by Taliban commanders.
Taking to Twitter, the Australian journalist said, "Tweet an apology or go to jail, said Taliban intelligence. Whatever it takes: They dictated. I tweeted. They didn’t like it. Deleted, edited, re-tweeted."
Tweet an apology or go to jail, said #Taliban intelligence. Whatever it takes: They dictated. I tweeted. They didn’t like it. Deleted, edited, re-tweeted. Made video of me saying I wasn't coerced. Re-did that too.#TwoTakesTaliban (I’m out now) #Afghanistan #journalism

Jul 22, 2022, 11:03 AM
Saudi Arabian authorities arrested a Saudi citizen who helped an Israeli journalist enter Mecca.
A statement from Saudi authorities read that, "The issue of the journalist who committed this crime has been transferred to the General Prosecutor's Office so as to take the necessary steps against him."

Muslim employees of German airports pose on the web showing the salute of the terrorist organisation IS
July 22 2022
It is extremely frightening: Three employees of the airport in Düsseldorf showed the IS salute on the tarmac, openly professing their sympathies for Islamist terror. Pictures of this surfaced on the net – the police reacted promptly.
Mohamed A. R. (19), Hamit A. (20) and Serhat I. (20). The three men were quickly identified from the pictures. All three were born in Germany, grew up among us in Europe. Nevertheless, they identified themselves as belonging to the terrorists of the “Islamic State” (IS).

Ex-Muslim threatened in Berlin: “How dare you insult the Prophet!”
July 21 2022
Amed Sherwan starts running when the traffic light at Hermannplatz switches to red. It is 12.30 p.m., Tuesday lunchtime, he is walking south on Kottbusser Damm, before that he had eaten rice with okra pods at his favourite Kurdish restaurant and now he wants to go on towards Sonnenallee, to drink Arabic coffee, with cardamom. As he runs through the traffic lights, a man overtakes him and starts shouting at him: “I saw you in the documentary on Arte, how dare you insult the Prophet!” This is how Sherwan tells it on the phone the next day.
Sherwan’s life story is well-known, he wrote it down in a book: “Kafir: Thank Allah I’m an Atheist”. At the age of 15, the Iraqi Kurd wrote on Facebook that he wanted to live as an atheist, when he was still living in the capital Erbil. His father denounced him, Amed Sherwan was sent to prison, tortured, convicted of blasphemy – and finally fled to Flensburg via detours. He has lived there since 2014 and also visits Berlin from time to time.
Normally, he says, the capital is a place where he is submerged in the crowd. “I am one of many here,” he says.

Speaking to the Independent, a source described the incident as "horrific" with people running for cover as the group of men shot at the defenceless animals. Rashida Tlaib campaign events in 2018 were organized by alleged jihad terror financiers
JUL 21, 2022 5:00 PM
BY ROBERT SPENCER
Two men who held key positions at nonprofit groups that were found liable in a Hamas terror financing scheme helped organize campaign fundraising events for Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) in 2018.
The men, who organized events that were paid for by Tlaib’s campaign, were associated with a network of nonprofit groups that were found liable by a federal jury in 2004 for financing the terrorist slaying of an American teenager, David Boim, at a bus stop in the West Bank in 1996. A federal judge ordered the three groups to pay Boim’s parents a $156 million judgment for funding Hamas, a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization.
The groups — the Holy Land Foundation, the American Muslim Society, and the Islamic Association for Palestine — never paid up. They shut down shortly after they were ordered to pay the landmark judgment to the Boim family. The Holy Land Foundation ultimately had its monetary assets seized by the United States, and five of its leaders were sentenced to decades in prison in 2008, for providing material support to Hamas.

Hate crime in Rajasthan: Tensions prevail in Alwar as a group of Muslim youths thrash a Sikh man, chop off his hair
22 July, 2022
Tensions simmered in Milkapur village in Alwar, Rajasthan, after 4-5 Muslim youths allegedly harassed and assaulted one Gurbaksh Singh, a former granthi of a Gurudwara located in the area. The miscreants reportedly accosted the victim, beat him up, threw red chilli powder in his eyes, and chopped his hair, something Sikhism prohibits its followers from doing.
Several members of the Sikh community came to the streets and staged a dharna outside the Alwar PS in Rajasthan to protest against the harassment meted out at Gurbaksh Singh on the night of Thursday, July 21.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, the victim, Gurbaksh Singh narrated what transpired with him on the night of July 21. He alleged that around 9 pm on Thursday, he was on his way from his home in Milakpur to Alavada to buy medicines when he was allegedly waylaid by the miscreants. The youths asked him to stop his bike and park it on one corner of the road. They then dragged Gurbaksh Singh to a deserted corner and threw red chilli powder in his eyes.

Turkey: Why are non-Muslim cemeteries attacked?
July 22, 2022
The Istanbul community woke up on July 15 to learn of painful news published on social media: A Jewish cemetery had been subjected to the most cruel and callous attack. Gravestones had been desecrated, and some of the badly damaged graves had even been opened.
The Chief Rabbinate Foundation of Turkey announced on Twitter that the Jewish cemetery in Istanbul’s Haskoy neighborhood was targeted at midnight and 36 gravestones destroyed.
A later investigation revealed that the scope of the attack was even more devastating than earlier thought. The marble stones of 81 graves were broken, according to the newspaper Duvar. Some graves were found to have been excavated.

Islamists Find Pretexts to Terrorize Religious Minorities in their Midst
by Raymond Ibrahim
July 19, 2022
Last May, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria ("ISIS") published a video of the execution of about 20 Christian civilians in Nigeria. As with many other such ISIS-type videos, the terrorists stood behind their bound and kneeling victims, before knocking them over and carving their heads off to cries of "Allahu Akbar."
Before doing so, one of the masked Muslims, speaking in the Hausa language, said that the execution of these Christians was "to avenge the killing of the group's leaders in the Middle East earlier in 2022." This is apparently a reference to ISIS leader Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurashi -- a man with a reputation for extreme brutality -- who was killed last February during an airborne raid by U.S. and Kurdish forces in northwestern Syria.
The reader may be pondering how impoverished Christian civilians in Nigeria are connected to or responsible for the activities of U.S. and Kurdish forces in Syria. The fact is, Muslim terrorists are notorious for offering any number of pretexts -- many of which border on the absurd -- to justify their cowardly targeting and murdering of the Christian minorities in their midst.

Muslim dating app wants to pay the fine for Muslim women in France if they swim dressed in a burkini
July 23 2022
A38-year-old man was sentenced to four years in prison for several offences – including aggravated coercion and rape – at the Feldkirch Regional Court on Friday. Despite the defendant’s protestations of innocence, the senate believed the victim, who was awarded 6,000 euros in compensation. The verdict is not legally binding.
The 38-year-old, who originates from Iraq, met the 30-year-old Vorarlberg woman in 2020 in a bar in Dornbirn. At that time, he was already married to a woman from his home country, with whom he has five children. The 30-year-old woman converted to Islam and wore a headscarf on his behalf. A wedding according to Muslim rites followed, the 30-year-old became the second wife of the Iraqi.

He is traumatised, says family of teen out on bail after post on Nupur Sharma
Pankaj Upadhyay
July 22, 2022
The family of Saad Ansari, who was arrested by the Mumbai Police after a group of Muslims lodged a complaint against him for indirectly supporting BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma on social media, said he is traumatised and needs time to recover.
The 19-year-old engineering student from Mumbai's Bhiwandi was released on bail on June 27. Saad Ansari's family said that he needs time to recover from the trauma he went through over the past couple of weeks.
After Saad posted in support of Nupur Sharma's uncharitable remarks on Prophet Muhammad, a frenzied crowd calling itself Ashiq-e-Rasool (Lovers of the Prophet) menacingly surrounded his house in Bhiwandi that night in June. They surrounded his house, abused and slapped him and forced him to recite the Shahada (the belief in oneness of God), according to a news report.

Mossad probe: Iran funded but did not aid Hezbollah attacks in Argentina
Jul 22, 2022, 8:47 PM
Two terrorist attacks on Israeli and Jewish targets in Buenos Aires in the 1990s that killed scores of people were carried out by a secret Hezbollah unit whose operatives, contrary to widespread claims, were not abetted knowingly by Argentine citizens or aided by Iran on the ground, an investigation by the Mossad has found, according to a New York Times report on Friday.
The internal Mossad study, the written findings of which were shared with The New York Times, provide a detailed account of how the attacks were planned — including how material for the explosives was smuggled into Argentina in shampoo bottles and chocolate boxes.
While Mossad stresses that Israeli intelligence still believes that Iran, a supporter of Hezbollah, approved and funded the attacks and supplied training and equipment, the findings counter longstanding assertions by Israel, Argentina and the United States that Tehran had an operational role on the ground.
