Leaked US government intel report says Iran plotting to murder Trump inside the US

"Iran is plotting to kill or capture Donald Trump and his former secretary of state Mike Pompeo, according to a leaked US government intelligence report.

The Middle East nation is seeking to avenge the United States for the death of Major General Qassim Soleimani, a powerful Iranian commander, at the hands of a US drone strike two years ago.

The astonishing claim came from the latest National Counterterrorism Centre report that said the Iranian regime is “waging a multi-pronged campaign against select US officials”.

‘Community awards 25 lakhs for marrying a Hindu woman’: Salman, Kalu Khan, and Aslan threaten to kidnap and marry a Hindu girl in Jaipur

In Jaipur, Rajasthan’s capital city, a shocking case of love jihad has emerged, in which the accused Kalu Khan and two others threatened the victim’s mother, saying they would kidnap her daughter once she reached adulthood on July 15. They said they will do it because their community awards 25 lakh rupees for marrying a Hindu girl and converting her to Islam.

The accused also said that if the family members of the girl tried to interfere in the matter, they will meet the fate of Kanhaiya Lal. A case has been lodged at the Jaisinghpura Khor police station in Jaipur and an inquiry into the matter of love jihad has been initiated.

According to media sources, the victim’s mother has filed a police complaint. She said in her complaint that Asalan and Kalu Khan harassed her teenage daughter repeatedly when she was a student at a school in the Chaksu neighbourhood. They had even kidnapped the girl about a year earlier, the cops found the girl after a complaint was filed. A few days later, the accused abducted the girl yet again. Later, she was found and taken to a shelter house by Mansarovar police. Since then, she has remained there.

UN Committee Against Torture to review Palestinian Authority’s record

The United Nations Committee Against Torture (CAT) will for the first time hone in on the actions of the Palestinian Authority. Members of the Geneva-based body, which is a subsidiary of the U.N. Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), will meet on Monday and Tuesday.

The committee will determine whether the P.A. is in compliance with the U.N. Convention Against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, and investigate instances of forced disappearances, violent interrogations, the holding of the remains of Israeli soldiers, and other issues. The review will also address actions by Hamas, the terror group that rules the Gaza Strip and is routinely accused of torture by international watchdogs.

Thousands of people attended a memorial event in Argentina on Monday dedicated to the 85 people killed during the 1994 AMIA bombing in Buenos Aires. They came to read the names of the victims, recall the harrowing stories from the day and demand justice for the victims.

On July 18, 1994, at around 10 a.m. local time, a van laden with explosives destroyed the Asociación Mutual Israelita Argentina, a Jewish community center, in Buenos Aires. In addition to those killed, more than 300 others were injured. No one has ever been tried for the attack, though evidence has long pointed to Iran being behind it.

As attendees waved black-and-white photos of the victims, an alarm was sounded at 9:53 a.m., the exact moment that the bomb detonated 28 years ago. Among those in attendance was U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism Deborah Lipstadt.

Kelantan police arrest man alleged to have insulted Islam on Facebook

KOTA BARU, July 18 — Kelantan police today arrested a 35-year-old Muslim man who is alleged to have insulted Islam and Prophet Muhammad SAW through a video post on Facebook.

Kelantan Acting Police Chief Datuk Muhamad Zaki Harun said a CID team from the Machang District Police Headquarters (IPD) conducted a raid at Kampung Bagan Chekok, Pulai Chondong, Machang at 11.30am after receiving a report that the individual had insulted Islam via a video clip on a Facebook account belonging to one Saidinar Dina (Boss Dina).

“In the raid, the police arrested the individual who was the suspect in the video that was transmitted and he admitted to uploading the video lasting four minutes and 14 seconds.

Hindu student Murdered by Muslim people in Bangladesh for having an affair with their girl.

Another shocking news surfaced as a Hindu young man beaten to death by the relatives of a Muslim girl with whom Nayan had a love affairs as reported.

Nayan (22) was the son of Yogesh Kumar ubgone9 of Nandanalpur village and was a 12th class student of Alauddin Ahmed Degree College, Kumarkhali, Kusthia of Islamic Bangladesh. The family of the deceased Nayan claimed that because of his relationship with a Muslim girl, the girl’s relatives called Nayan and beat him to death with a hammer. He has bloody injury marks all over his body.

According to local sources, college student Nayan Kumar ubgone9 was missing since midnight on Saturday. The family members searched all night but could not find him anywhere. Then, in the morning, news came on the mobile phone that Nayan was lying on the side of the road in the Sondah Nahunpara field of Nandanalpur Union with bloody injuries. On hearing the news, the relatives quickly rushed and rescued him injured and sent him to Kushtia General Hospital. The doctor there sent him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for better treatment. He died on the way to Dhaka in the afternoon.

Egypt: Enraged Muslim mob throws rocks at Christian homes, starts fires after church gets legal recognition

After a church in Egypt, the Church of Michael the Archangel, received formal legal recognition last month, outraged Muslim mobs attacked the homes of many local Coptic Christians. The perpetrators, who targeted the Christian homes on June 23, amassed into large crowds and began hurling rocks through the windows of the homes. Buildings and vehicles sustained significant damage from the stones and from fires set by arsonists. Reportedly, local authorities assigned a security force to protect the church, but it was overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the mob.

The church which provoked the ire of this local Muslim community was originally built in 2003, and local Christians have awaited the church’s official legal approval for many years. Throughout the process, Muslims in the area have rejected the legitimacy of the new church, asserting that the construction or restoration of a church contradicts Islamic law. The Conditions of Omar, thought to have been written by Caliph Omar I, is one Islamic text that they refer to. The text dictates that no churches should ever be built or repaired, and that Christians must make do with preexisting churches only. The recent attack, reacting to the church’s official legalization via a decree signed by Egypt’s Prime Minister, is wholly predictable in this context of stubborn Muslim opposition.

Germany: Syrian arrested for murder of 17-year-old schoolgirl

It has become a sad certainty: Tabitha (17) is dead.

The schoolgirl had left her parents’ house on Tuesday and told them she was taking the bus to Ludwigsburg to go shopping.

The parents reported their daughter missing. When Tabitha still did not come home, the police decided to launch a public search on Friday. The newspaper BILD also reported. But even the public search did not lead to decisive clues.

From Saturday on, the police searched for Tabitha with helicopters, drones and search dogs.

Islamic Center opens at former episcopal church in Wantagh

A century-old former episcopal church in Wantagh has turned into an Islamic Center.
The Islamic Center which was once the former Saint Matthias Episcopal Church on Jerusalem Avenue held an inauguration ceremony Sunday to celebrate its opening.

In 2019, the building was granted historic landmark status. The Islamic Center of Nassau purchased the building and 1-acre property at the end of 2021.

The building was built in 1904 and is the second oldest surviving African American religious structure in Nassau County.

Imam arrested for alleged sexual abuse of 7 children in western Turkey

An imam appointed by Turkey’s Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) to a mosque in the western province of Balıkesir has been arrested on allegations of sexually abusing four boys and three girls between the ages of eight and 12, the Cumhuriyet daily reported on Saturday.

The man, who was appointed by the Diyanet as imam of a mosque in Dursunbey’s Ericek neighborhood, was arrested after an investigation was launched into him on July 7. He was detained the day after over claims that he had sexually abused seven children two months ago.

The imam, who was arrested pending trial and sent to Kepsut Prison in Balıkesir, was appointed to the post by the Balıkesir provincial director of the Diyanet three months earlier, Cumhuriyet said.

Sudanese refugee arrested after stabbing spree leaves 3 dead

A Sudanese refugee has been arrested by police in France on suspicion of murdering three young men, including a minor, during a stabbing spree in the center of the western French city of Angers on early Saturday morning.

The attack reportedly took place around 3 a.m. local time on the Coeur de Maine promenade, French media reported. According to prosecutor Érik Bouillard, an initial theory that an argument took place over the volume of some music is not accurate, and eye-witness accounts suggest the victims were defending two young girls who were being sexually assaulted by the assailant.

On Sunday, the regional Le Courrier de l’Ouest newspaper reported the testimony of a young woman present at the scene who was friends with one of the victims. The young woman claimed the assailant had tried to “touch the breasts of a young woman and put a knife to her throat,” prompting the intervention of the young men.

Moroccan Migrant Drug Gang Accused of Cutting Off Ears, Torturing Victims

A gang of Moroccan illegal migrant drug dealers in northern Italy has been accused of carrying out brutal acts of torture, including cutting off a man’s ear and beating him for seven hours straight.

The illegal migrant drug trafficking gang is said to operate in wooded areas of the northern province of Varese and has become known by local Italian law enforcement for their particularly brutal behaviour, including acts of torture, violence and threats.

There have been two notable incidents of violence in recent months linked to the Moroccan drug traffickers, including one incident in which a 25-year-old, also from Morocco, was tied to a tree and whipped for seven hours, the newspaper Il Giornale reports.

Pakistani national, with 11-inch long knife crosses over to India to kill Nupur Sharma, held in Rajasthan

A Pakistani national, who crossed over to India via the international border to allegedly kill suspended BJP national spokesperson Nupur Sharma, has been held in Sri Ganga Nagar district of Rajasthan.

A joint team of the intelligence bureau (IB) and other intelligence agencies are interrogating the arrested Pakistani national.

A senior Border Security Force (BSF) officer informed that the man was held on 16 July around 11 pm from near Hindumalkot border outpost. He was found in suspicious condition by patrolling team. He was immediately detained and frisked.

Pakistan’s jirga announces ban on women’s entry in tourist spots

Pakistan’s ‘jirga’ (tribal council) of elders announced a ban on women’s entry to tourist spots and said that they will take it upon themselves to enforce the decision if the government did not impose it by Sunday.
Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), one of the members of the ruling coalition, organised the all-male Salarzai tehsil’s jirga in the hilly Danqool area on Saturday, the Dawn newspaper reported.
In the Global Gender Gap Report which was released by WEF on Wednesday, Pakistan ranked as the second-worst country in terms of gender parity.
Several JUI-F leaders and religious figures of the region were present during the gathering along with several elders from various tribes and areas of the Salarzai tehsil.
