UNRWA materials urge Palestinians to take up ‘hobby’ of killing Israelis
July 7, 2022
Educational materials produced by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) contain content that encourages jihad, violence and martyrdom, in addition to promoting anti-Semitism, according to an analysis by IMPACT-se.
The Israeli NGO—which monitors curricula to assess whether young people are being indoctrinated with hate—focused on materials labeled for use in the Palestinian territories in 2022 that did not appear on UNRWA’s new education portal as is required.

Islamist Terrorism Resurfaces in Scandinavia
by Ioannis E. Kotoulas
Special to IPT News
July 5, 2022
The man who opened fire in an Oslo gay bar on Pride Night last month has deep ties to an extremist leader dubbed "the most dangerous person in Norway."
Two people were killed and at least 21 others wounded in the June 25 attack. A gunman opened fire at three places: the gay bar London Pub; the bar Per på hjørnet; and a takeout restaurant. Among the wounded, 10 were treated for serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
Norway's Police Security Service (PST) determined "that this was an attack motivated by extreme Islamism." A separate Pride Parade and related events were canceled as a result of the attack.
The suspect, Zaniar Matapour, is a 42-year-old Norwegian Muslim of Iranian descent. He allegedly is a radicalized Islamist with a history of mental illness, known to Norwegian intelligence services since 2015. According to an official statement from the Norwegian Police Security Service, Matapour recently was a "member of an extremist Islamist network in Norway, with a long history of violence and threats."
He was in close contact with Arfan Bhatti, a central figure in Norway's extremist Islamist milieu.

July 7 2022
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have detained several foreigners, including Britain’s second most senior envoy in Tehran, for alleged acts of spying such as taking soil samples in restricted areas, state television reported on Wednesday.
It did not say whether those detained were still under arrest.
“These spies were taking earth samples in Iran’s central desert where the Revolutionary Guards’ aerospace missile exercises were conducted,” state TV said.

By KHALED ABU TOAMEH

According to some reports, the PA security forces seized large amounts of weapons and explosives in the town of Beitunia, southwest of Ramallah, that belonged to a Hamas cell.
Hamas is planning to stage a non-violent coup against the Palestinian Authority by taking control of universities, unions and other institutions in the West Bank, Tawfik Tirawi, former head of the PA General Intelligence Service, has warned.

PA critic Nizar Banat’s suspected murderers sent on vacation by the PA
Nan Jacques Zilberdik
Jul 7, 2022
PA critic and activist Nizar Banat died in June last year after being violently beaten and arrested by PA Security Forces in Hebron. Palestinian Media Watch revealed that even while the PA promised a thorough investigation, at the same time it tried to buy off Banat’s family.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, during their ongoing trial in a PA military court, the PA granted PA Security Forces members suspected of murdering Banat a two-week vacation!
What is more, while the vacation was supposed to end on July 2, 2022, PMW has not found any evidence that the suspects have been returned to prison following their vacation.

Female influencers in Iran targeted by cyberattacks blame Iranian govn't
By DEBBIE MOHNBLATT/THE MEDIA LINE
Published: JULY 7, 2022 23:16
Several Iranian feminists and women’s rights activists both inside and outside of Iran have reported suffering from cyberattacks targeting their social media accounts, especially on Instagram.
“In these cyberattacks, which are often managed and sponsored by companies affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the bots swarmed our social media pages in order to temporarily disable them,” said the open letter.
“My views of every single post were terrible, my stories were almost hidden from my followers and, because of huge number of notifications of new followers, I didn’t have access to my comments. Besides, my page was not shown on search engine of Instagram,” she told The Media Line.
All three women said that the fake accounts that started following them were created a few days beforehand, they had no posts, and their profile pictures where either caricatures, Asian-looking people whose pictures were used for many different accounts, or pictures of Qasem Soleimani, who was the commander of the elite Iranian Quds forces before he was killed in Iraq in January 2020.

‘Nupur Sharma was not wrong, If Islamic clerics think she was wrong, they should first explain how’: Scholar Atiqur Rahman
8 July, 2022
In a debate show hosted by Pradeep Bhandari in India News, Islamic scholar Atiqur Rahman stated that Nupur Sharma was not wrong in what she said about the life of Prophet Muhammad. The Islamic scholar lamented the atmosphere of hate and threats created via social media and stated that Islam has the scope to discuss and forgive.
'I want to ask Islamic Scholars – what was wrong about what #NupurSharma said?' –
During the news debate, VHP leader Vinod Bansal raised the issue of how many Islamists are giving open death threats and proclaiming that they will kill anyone who raises questions on Islam. Pradeep Bhandari had noted that india is a liberal democracy and not an orthodox theocratic state where criticism of religion means strict punishment.

Algerian migrant dressed as clown accused of sexually assaulting French woman on ghost train fairground ride
July 06, 2022
A woman riding the ghost train at a fair in the Saint-Germain-en-Laye commune in France was sexually assaulted by an Algerian migrant dressed as a clown, according to police.
The woman was riding the ghost train ride at 1:30 a.m. on July 3 at the Fête des Loges, billed as the largest fair in France. As her wagon entered the labyrinth area of the ride, a clown reached out and grabbed her, and began to grope her breasts, “caressing them incessantly,” as the woman described to the police.
At the end of the ride, the clown then taunted the victim as she told a number of relatives that he had sexually assaulted her. The management and staff at the attraction defended the employee. The woman and the relatives went to the police, who placed the 27-year-old Bachir S., who was born in Algeria, under arrest.

Medical students taught gender politics with curtain separating men, women in classroom
Jul 8, 2022 - 12:08 p.m.
A controversy has erupted in Kerala over an Islamist outfit conducting classes on 'gender politics' for a section of students in the medical college here by making male and female students sit separately, divided by a curtain.
The issue came to light after an office-bearer of the group which conducted the class posted a photograph of the same on social media.
The office-bearer, who posted the photo on social media, said the expenses of the classes were borne by the group which was of the view that they can put up a screen or curtain as they wished for segregating the two sexes.

Christian mechanic is sentenced to death for blasphemy in Pakistan after he argued with a customer who demanded a discount for being a devoted Muslim
By RACHAEL BUNYAN
Published: 07:18 EDT, 8 July 2022
A Christian mechanic has been sentenced to death for blasphemy in Pakistan after he was found guilty of insulting the Prophet Mohammed by saying that Jesus Christ is the 'true prophet'.
Ashfaq Masih, 34, was arrested in 2017 after he got into a verbal disagreement with a Muslim customer at his motorbike repair shop in Lahore after the man refused to pay his bill.
The customer had asked for a waiver on the grounds that he was a religious devotee - but Masih refused the request, saying he believed in Jesus Christ and wasn't interested in the man's religious status as a Muslim.
Masih was accused of 'disrespecting' the Prophet Muhammad and arrested after he allegedly said that for Christians, Jesus was the 'true prophet'.

Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven, not Muhammad who isn't mentioned in the Bible. Muhammad is a false prophet and will see the lake of fire when he stands before Christ*****

Turkish police batter LGBTI pride marchers, detaining at least 36 in capital Ankara
July 5 2022
Turkish police used teargas and pepper spray to halt an LGBTQ+ Pride march in the capital Ankara on July 5, detaining at least 36 people after authorities banned such marches in cities across the country for security reasons.
Reuters journalists saw police pepper spraying activists and dragging them across the ground before handcuffing them and putting them in buses. UniKuir, an Ankara based group of LGBTQ+ activists, said at least 36 people were detained.
Last week in Istanbul, police dispersed a larger annual Pride march and detained more than 300 people.
