In the brutal, unremitting heat of a Wednesday afternoon, a scene to make you flinch for those putting their backs into creating the glittering facade that Qatar will show off when its World Cup kicks off, one year on Sunday.

A half-dozen immigrant workers are on their knees under the sun, hammering away at the task of installing stone pavements around the Lusail Stadium, the as yet unfinished venue where the World Cup final will be held.

Hamas-linked CAIR accuses College Democrats of America of ‘Islamophobia’

Democrats supporting Israel’s self-defense against the “Palestinian” jihad? That isn’t allowed. Hamas-linked CAIR is ensuring that the miscreants get back in line, and pronto. Independent thought? Pshaw! That’s only for “right-wingers.”

A Muslim advocacy group is accusing the College Democrats of America of “Islamophobia” for harassing one of their officers on social media over pro-Palestinian comments she made online as a child.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) this week called in a letter for the Democratic Party-affiliated group to open an “independent investigation” with the intent of disciplining or expelling the unnamed members who “repeatedly harassed” Rollins College senior Nourhan Mesbah on social media when she ran successfully for national vice president in August.

ADL Exposes Dozens of Arabic Facebook Pages Dedicated to Antisemitic ‘Protocols of the Elders of Zion’

Arabic-language pages promoting a notorious antisemitic text fabricated in the early 20th Century have become rife on Facebook, a new report from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) disclosed on Wednesday.

The ADL said it had discovered “dozens of large Facebook pages or groups” promoting “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” — a fabrication first published by the Okhrana, the Russian Tsarist secret police, in 1903 that lays out the plot for alleged Jewish domination of the world.

Uganda's Kampala bombings: Muslim cleric accused of jihadist links shot dead

Security forces in Uganda have shot dead a Muslim cleric accused of working with an armed group linked to suicide bombings in the capital Kampala.

Officials said Sheikh Muhammad Abas Kirevu had recruited for cells run by the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) - rebels who have pledged allegiance to the Islamic State group.

He was killed just outside Kampala.

At least four people were killed by attackers on motorbikes who blew themselves up in the city on Tuesday

61% of Channel migrants come from Middle East including 26% from Iran alone

Nearly two thirds of migrants who cross the Channel to reach the UK are originally from the Middle East, newly released figures have today revealed.

More than 61 per cent of those who make the dangerous journey across the 21 mile straight Calais to Dover are nationals from countries such as Iran and Iraq according to figures from the British Refugee Council.

The highest number of migrants arriving in small boats are from Iran, with 3,187 Iranian nationals reaching UK shores from January last year to May this year. This accounts for 26 per cent of all arrivals in small boats over this period.

Seven-year-old Zohra sits on the dusty doorstep of her family's hut in the province of Ghor, north-west Afghanistan, playing with her younger sister's hair and pulling the hood on her red fleece over her ears as bitter winds sweep their settlement.

As dusk falls, the family starts a fire to cook dinner outside. Zohra and five of her siblings — she also has a 20-day-old sister — will eat bread made out of their last remaining food: a bucket of flour that sits on the floor.

Hunger is destroying the children's health. Their father, Qadir, 35, used to work as a labourer, earning up to £2 a day, but since the Taliban took over in August, even that work has dried up.

Building a PLO real estate empire while simultaneously begging for aid

Responding to the constant pleas, in the last 5 years alone, the international community donated billions of shekels/dollars/euros in aid to the Palestinian Authority. Tomorrow, at the meeting of the Ad-Hoc Liaison Committee, the PA will again beg the international community for even more donations. While the PA, headed by Mahmoud Abbas, is begging for aid, the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), also headed by Abbas and funded by the PA, is building a multi-million dollar international real estate portfolio.

An examination conducted by Palestinian Media Watch of the monthly budget performance reports published by the PA for the last decade, shows that instead of the PA purchasing properties in the name of the PA, tens of millions of shekels/dollars/euros of PA funds have been diverted to the PLO and then used to buy properties in the name of the PLO.

Amravati in Maharashtra is burning as Muslim mobs continue rioting over fake news of mosque attack in Tripura: Watch visuals

Amravati in Maharashtra has been burning since November 12 (Friday) due to back-to-back stone-pelting incidents and damage to public and private property. Sandip Patil, additional police commissioner, has imposed a four-day curfew in the city under sections 144(1), (2), (3) of the CrPc to avoid any further incidents. As per the orders, only people with medical emergencies can come out of the house. Additionally, not more than five people can gather at a place.

The series of incidents started on Friday during rallies called by the Muslim organisations protesting against an alleged incident of burning down a mosque in Tripura. Such rallies took place in Nanded, Malegaon, Washim and Yayatmal other than Amravati. Notably, Tripura Police have clarified that the alleged incident that led to the rallies in Maharashtra had never occurred in Tripura. Also, these rallies took place without permission from the Police.

Sky employee, 44, who won unfair dismissal case loses bid to get his job back after he said two young girls wearing short skirts was an 'open invitation to get raped'

A Sky employee who was dismissed after telling a colleague if two young girls wearing short skirts were raped it would be 'their own fault', has lost his bid to get his job back.

Retail advisor Raja Minhas had sought his job back at a remedy hearing after being dismissed for comments about the teenagers as they walked past his Sky stand in a shopping centre in Blackburn, Lancashire.

A colleague reported the 44-year-old to bosses claiming he told her, 'girls in general who wear skirts like that and then get raped, it's their own fault', the hearing was told

Death Toll From Attack In DR Congo's Beni Jumps To 38: Experts, NGO

Beni, DR Congo, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Nov, 2021 ) :The death toll from attacks last week in eastern DR Congo attributed to the ADF rebel group has risen to 38, the Red Cross and a security watchdog said Monday.

The toll, which initially stood at five in an attack on a hospital in Beni, "has been revised to 38 dead after the discovery of new bodies" in two neighbouring villages, the respected Kivu Security Tracker reported.

The local Red Cross also counted 38 dead from the attack blamed on the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebel group.

Gaza boy, 11, becomes 6,000th child saved by Israeli humanitarian group
(December 13, 2021 / Israel Hayom) Mazen, an 11-year-old boy from the Gaza Strip, this month became the 6,000th child saved by the Israeli humanitarian organization Save a Child’s Heart (SACH), with support from the German foundation Ein Herz für Kinder.

Shortly after Mazen was born, doctors in Gaza diagnosed him with a complicated congenital heart condition that would require multiple medical procedures. As Mazen grew older, he began having difficulty breathing. To survive, he needed emergency surgery.

Aman had to answer to the criminal court in Grasse on Monday for glorifying terrorism, premeditated violence and threatening to kill, as BFM Nice-Côte d’Azur has learned from police circles.

The incident took place early on Friday afternoon in Cagnes-sur-Mer (Alpes-Maritimes). A man refused to put out his cigarette when the operator of the petrol station on the beach promenade asked him to do so. He then threatened her and the Israeli community: “I’ll shoot them, I’ll shoot them,” he said. He also verbally assaulted the shopkeeper’s husband, saying, “I can shoot you right now, I have a gun, Allah is with me, he protects me”.He then physically assaults a customer by punching him twice in the upper body. As he fled, he approached another driver, grabbed him by the neck and shouted: “You infidel, you gotcha109, we will kill you all, Allah Akbar”.

The Taliban have beheaded or hanged dozens of prisoners and publicly displayed their bodies in extrajudicial killings, a UN report has revealed.

The report said the militant group has also been recruiting child soldiers, and has been quashing women's rights since taking power in Afghanistan in August.

More than than 100 former Afghan national security forces and others have been killed since the takeover, the UN Human Rights Council heard on Tuesday
