Shopkeeper Verbally Abuses, Manhandles 22-yr-old Muslim Woman for Wearing Jeans And Not Burqa

A shopkeeper in Assam allegedly hurled verbal abuses at a 22-year-old woman and also manhandled her for wearing jeans instead of a burqa. The man allegedly told her that she should be wearing “decent” clothes as she was a Muslim. Police have detained the man and his son, who allegedly beat up the woman’s father for questioning the shop owner for abusing his daughter.

The incident took place on October 25, when the woman went to buy headphones in Assam’s Biswanath Charali. The accused, identified as Nurul Amin, runs an electronic accessories shop in Biswanath and kept a stock of items stored at his residence as well.

The mother of the Manchester Arena suicide bomber pocketed benefits worth more than £17,000 after leaving Britain, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

Despite returning to her native Libya in October 2016, terrorist sympathiser Samia Tabbal continued to receive about £2,500 a month in housing and child benefit and work and tax credits into her HSBC bank account.

A video clip of the marriage of an Iraqi girl, 12, spread on the social media platforms and received mixed reactions between opponents and supporters.

The girl's mother, who is separated from her husband, appealed through a video clip, to the people and the authorities to save her daughter, but the Iraqi Ministry of Interior said that "Sharia and the law allows the marriage of a minor by proxy of her father."

Missile strike on mosque near Marib kills more than 20, Yemeni officials say

At least 22 people were killed in a Huthi rebel missile strike on a mosque south of the strategic Yemeni city of Marib, officials said on Monday.
"Twenty-two people, including children, were killed and 19 others were injured in a Huthi missile attack on a mosque... in Al-Jawba district" on Sunday night, a pro-government military official told AFP.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the mosque also had a religious school.

A young woman who had converted to Islam at the Kozhikode Mukhadar Tarbiathul Islamic Center has made shocking revelations against the Muslim seminary. The woman has accused the head of the centre of inflicting torture and sexually exploiting women and girls under the pretext of ‘teaching’ them Islam.

In her interview with Janam TV, the woman said the chief of the Islamic seminary had sexually abused a large number of girls. The woman compared the centre with prison and said women and girls were proscribed from leaving the religious seminary.

Islamists clash with Police over Charlie Hebdo cartoon, kill four cops
28 October, 2021

At least four Pakistani policemen were killed after Islamists from the group Tehrik-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP) opened fire on the cops during the anti-blasphemy protests in Lahore. TLP is a banned Islamists outfit in Pakistan and has been protesting against the Charlie Hebdo cartoon depicting Prophet Muhammad and have been demanding expulsion of France’s ambassador and release of their leader.

The TLP protestors, armed with pistols and automatic weapons including AK 47 rifles, on Wednesday blocked one of the busiest highways and opened fire. As per police, at least four police officers were killed and 263 were wounded. TLP spokesperson has claimed that several of their members were also killed and wounded in the violent clashes

The Taliban has compiled “a kill list” of LGBT+ Afghans, according to the executive director of a charity helping queer people flee the country.

Human rights groups have been expressing significant concern for Afghanistan’s embattled LGBT+ community ever since the Taliban seized power in August. The extremist militant group holds a strict view of Sharia law, and anecdotal evidence suggests that queer people are already feeling the brunt of the Taliban’s power.
