Christ is the son of God, Paul was the son of mortals, there is no comparison.

That's like comparing Ruth and Esther, Ruth was a Gentile while Esther was a Jewess. Ruth is a young Gentile woman who is brought to live among the Jews and marries a Jew.  Esther is a young Jewish woman who marries a Gentile king. While Ruth shows that God is sovereignly working in the lives of ordinary people.  Esther shows that God is sovereignly working in the lives of the leaders of our world.

You can compare all you want but, your treading on dangerous grounds.

Similarities will always be seen between Christ and anyone who truly follows Him for are we all not supposed to be Christ like?

1 John 2:6, 1 Peter 2:21, 1 Corinthians 11:1, Ephesians 5:1-2

However there is a difference between typology as used in the Bible (not the man given use of the term) and that of imitating. Typology in the Bible are given as a shadow of things to come not of those that follow after and are described as such in the Bible.

 Hi and some see what are SHADOWS  OF  THINGS  in the bible , BUT  the only one that has written 3 books about of  FIGURES of  SPEECH  USED in the  bible  , is by  E W  Bullinger .   

 You see the  in sight that  really  did have !    I purchased all 3  books and give insight where other do  NOT and can find any FIGURE by BOOK , CHAPTER AND BY VERSE .
