I was up with the kids when my wife was asleep, so she could rest at night. I also helped the kids when they needed help with homework.

Actually, I do get up with the girls, and am usually the one to take a day to stay home with them when they're sick.  The begrudgingly angry part...

I was up with the kids when my wife was asleep, so she could rest at night. I also helped the kids when they needed help with homework.
