Oklahoma Howdy Tigerlily,

The old cop in me wants to see that hacker caught and prosecuted, but I'll settle for the system being back up and conversing with friends.

Hello Sincereheart,

I miss Symphony also. In fact, I miss a lot of people who have been here on and off for several years.

I know there are priorities that come up with health, family, work, and dozens of other things, but we miss them all the same. We have worked on trying to put together a newsletter to send out from time to time. In fact, we finished one just recently, but we had some problems in sending it out. ADMIN is working on a script of some sort to help us do that, but we will still have some problems with changed or no longer existing email addresses. I don't know how many newsletters were successfully sent when we tried, but we got out enough to be reported for spamming.  Cheesy  So, some people aren't here because they don't want to be here, and we really don't know who on the email list fits in that category.

Everyone did at one time check the boxes in their accounts to be sent email from Christians Unite, so we didn't do anything improper in trying to send out a newsletter, but we got reported anyway. I know that we don't want to cause any problems or make people mad, so I think that we are on hold in trying to determine a best and most appropriate way of staying in touch. We thought that the new forum software was a perfect opportunity.

Love In Christ,
Tom

I HOPE that it's a matter of going to the junk boxes and not really meaning it.  Shocked

Cause I just find CU spamming to be a most amusing thought!  Grin

So can I smack Symphony or not?  Undecided

Sincereheart,

Cheesy  YES!! - I think that a good smack might get Symphony's attention. In fact, maybe we should even consider re-opening the Christians Unite court and jail. We could charge the missing members with being AWOL and try them in absentia. We could simply say whatever we wanted and surely get a conviction.  Grin

And if there's a problem with the sentence, then he simply must show up to defend himself.  Cool
