Hello all,
Please pray for our Christians brothers and sisters in Egypt; as many of you are aware, Mohammed Mursi was sworn in as Egypt's President; he is the leader of the Muslim Brotherhood. The reason I ask you to pray for Christians, is because of the information I have recieved below in red.

[font=Verdana]The Muslim Brotherhood
The organization, which was founded in 1928, is a pan-Islamic religious, political and social movement.  Its teachings, followers and cells thrive not only in Egypt, but also others parts of Africa and the Middle East (there are even cells in the Galilee in Israel). Over the years, members of the Muslim Brotherhood have been involved in bombings, terrorist attacks, assassinations of political opponents, and church burnings, as well as torture and beheadings of Christian leaders.  This huge organization which has been called the father of modern terrorism, exhibits a virulent hatred of Israel and the Jews.

Their Goal
The stated purpose of the Muslim Brotherhood is to reclaim Islam’s “manifest destiny,” a restored Islamic Caliphate (empire), and Shar’ia Law (the Koran), stretching from Europe and the Middle East to the Far East.  Their proclaimed credo is: “Allah is our objective, the Koran is our law, the prophet (Mohammed) is our leader. Jihad is our way; and death for the sake of Allah is the highest of our aspirations.”  Recently in Cairo a huge crowd of thousands, including the new Egyptian president, screamed “Jerusalem is our goal.  We shall pray in Jerusalem or else we shall die as martyrs on its threshold.” [note: Jerusalem is not mentioned in the Koran, but can be found hundreds of times in the Bible.] Is this the “new beginning” that Barak Hussein Obama called for in Cairo three years ago? His speech to the Islamic world was essentially a pronouncement of moral equivalence between our Judeo-Christian heritage and Islam -- between the Bible and the Koran.

These Christians are already in my prayers, as are Christians in other parts of the world who have been persecuted for many years (i.e. China, India, Indonesia, North Korea, Iran, Iraq, etc.).
