The mankind rebel against God of the Bible in many ways. One of this kind of rebellion is euthanasia in other words merciful killing or mercy death. On this article, I brought forth why euthanasia is wrong and sin against God.

I am pro life. I believe that life is precious and only God can decide when a person should die.  Let me ask you this... have you ever had a loved one on "the machine" and knew that all life was gone except for that machine?  My mother had a massvie stroke that wiped out the top of her brain. She was dead in all areas except for the heart which had stopped a couple times.  All five of her children discussed whether to pull the plug or not.  One of us could not do it so we all agreed to leave her as is.  Thankfully God intervened and despite the machine, her heart finally stopped.  Pulling the plug... would that be considered euthanasia?  I don't agree that we should help a person to commit suicide, but we should honor life directives in case of machines being the only thing keeping a person alive.

Taking someone off the machine isn't euthanasia. That is simply stopping treatment.

I know, but in essence we are enabling them to die physically.  Although I think most on the machine are already dead.

While I completely agree with the original posters stance on certain aspects...the display of evidence is totally incorrect.

Bringing forth the OT for example as evidence that God does not want man to kill man is not a very strong display of evidence.   In the OT man was commanded by God to kill other men in the carrying out of God's justice.  This is something that is glazed over in the original article.  That tidbit aside let me also say that I also agree with another comment in regards to the orginal article.

"The Bible teaches that the will of God is to give the man long, happy and plentiful life. The will of God is that the man would enjoy the life with God and other people on the earth and his moment of the death; he could die full of years and pleased with his life. "

is a line out of that article.  And I feel the correct way to put this is that God's will is to give man life.  When you attempt to place other adjectives in there like "long", "happy", and 'plentiful" you border on prosperity gospel teaching.  As if someone who is not happy must not be blessed by God, of they were dead at a  young age then they must have not been blessed by God.  There are plenty of examples in the Bible of people dieing before "old age" got them, are we to say that they were "taken out" because they were not blessed or anything of that nature?  Remember the beggar Lazarus?  By whose standards was he "happy"?  He sure was not "plentiful" by a worldly standard, so again who is to define "plentiful"?  I know you or I are not going to live as long as Noah, or Adam, or many others, does that mean we are not blessed as much as they were?  Yes be very careful when you attempt to suppose what God's will for our lifestyle is.  God's will for us is to bless us, it is for us to follow Him.  His blessings are His own.

I am unlike most fathers.  What I would like my children to have more of is crowns to lay at Jesus feet.
