Jesus brought me back to Himself in October 2008, after a harrowing family tragedy. I'd spent many, many years asking Him to come into my heart, to change me; I tried on my own power to "work up" the faith to believe in Him and to serve Him, which of course was futile. People would ask me concerning my prayer to Him: Well, did you mean it? Confusion and frustration escalated from that point. When I FINALLY understood that salvation is of Him, He called me and chose me to be one of His own, then I asked Him for the faith to believe, to come into my heart and life, on His terms, and to cleanse me, and He did. He answered my prayers I'd prayed long ago: "Please don't forget me" and "Please don't give up on me". I am grateful to Him that he "kept" me over these many years, until that day when my heart of stone was made into a heart of flesh and I passed from death into life. He holds my salvation secure, He is my Redeemer, Merciful Intercessor, and Faithful High Priest. When the enemy tries to fire darts of doubt at me about my salvation, that I'm not worthy, I say "of course I'm not..but HE is" and I run to Christ and cling to Him and the promise of I John 1:9. And no one is able to snatch me out of His mighty hand. (John 10:28)

Being a writer defines who I am; it’s what I enjoy doing. What I write demonstrates my love for Jesus Christ, and thankfulness for the incomparable gift of His salvation.
