Think about this. You may not realize it, but it's 100% true.
1. There are at least two people in this world that you would die for. 2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way. 3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you. 4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you. 5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep. 6. You mean the world to someone. 7. You are special and unique. 8. Someone that you don't even know exists, loves you. 9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it. 10. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look 11. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks

To most of those (who, whom, whoever?) I could say the first thought coming to my mind "this is Jesus", and then all the others come to mind...
Yes, I have friends in the world that would fill some of these shoes...but not all of them.
Praise God for family, friends and friends unknown (never strangers), and most of all for Jesus.

Thanks, Gracey! They're never really strangers, are they? We just haven't met 'em yet...

What a sweet and encouraging post. It's true-we really don't think about all the possibilities when we see the negative side of things. Often we perceive more negativity than exists. Self-fulfilling prophecy is based on the idea that we act on our beliefs, and by believing, we therefore make something true by how we respond to those beliefs. Why not use this to our advantage? Have you ever sat at a red light and prayed for a pedestrian walking across the street? Felt some compulsion to pray for a celebrity you never met, or an old friend (or enemy)? Ever just wanted to do something sweet for a stranger? Ever paid the rest for a stranger who was a few cents shy at the cash register? Ever smiled at someone you didn't know, just because it seemed they needed it? That feels good. Surely there are others who have done the same for us. It's all good. Thanks, TL!

Yes!! One afternoon I was out for a walk, and I suddenly felt that I needed to pray for Jim Varney (Ernest P. Worrel, "Hey, Vern!") I did for several weeks; a month or so later his story was on the News, that he had died of lung cancer...

Yeah, I like the "26 things a girl likes for a guy to do." Can't get much for self centered then that? Could they at least round it to the nearest numder? Or the thing where the girl ask the guy if she likes him and stuff, and he saws no, and at the end says something like "I don't like you, I love you." WHY DIDN'T HE JUST SAY THAT TO START WITH, and avoid gotcha6 off is girlfriend!?!?!? Of the "national Friendship weeK' forward, you know, the one I get EVERY OTHER WEEK! I'm done.

Wow-wouldn't that be amazing if we saw him in heaven one day, and you found out it was because of your prayers? It's just like God to do things like that. See-while he was sick, Jim had love from someone he didn't even know.
