Our local library had a book sale and I found this little treasure. Its not a religious book, but it speaks well of a subject that has been on the news and in our minds a lot these days with whats been happening around the world. This book "Two Ways of Life" is about The Communist Challenge to Democracy. It was published in 1964. The author William Ebenstein was a professor of Political Science at the University of California at Santa Barbara. He was an author of many widely used collage books. The book speaks of the differences of thought between communism and socialism, and Democracy. It is a easy book to read surprisingly because it is a collage book, but it gives a fair illustration of each thought pattern and the ways Karl Marx was confused and mislead in understanding the way a free country is run and the hows and whys of this. i think the book is out of print, but it is a worthwhile read in this day and age where young people think communist leaders are somehow role models due to improper teachings.

This sounds like an interesting book, one that we should all read. Maybe it should be a must read for all of our politicians. I know you've heard me say this before, but I think the times are close for God to usher in the Tribulation Period. Many of the things we are seeing now in our own country would have been beyond imagination just 10 years ago.
