Was it a love poem Solomon wrote for hiis beloved or was it as some think a love letter the church. I for one think its definitely a love and a rite of passage to. this book talks about a young girl just entering womanhood, and what this is like. I think we are too learn what love and sex are about in Christ. I can see no reason why something this important would not have been discussed in the Bible and no where else to my knowledge is it discussed, what do you think?

There are numerous points of view by various Bible Scholars, and it would be difficult to say which interpretation is correct. The most common points of view: 1) love and maturation of marriage, 2) a type of Christ and His love for His Church. I lean toward #1, the more common view. Regardless, it's a beautiful book.
