Ok please no spoilers here. I have stared reading this series of Ted's. Am currently reading red, and have a view questions on Black.
Where did Dekker get name Elyon as another name for God it's not in my Bible?
I am also wonder how he ever came up with the name Shataki for the evil bats, and lastly the same question for  the name Rousch. My spelling may be off I actually listen to books on CD's so the spelling may be off. Thanks

It's from the ancient languages and is a descriptive name for God before it's translated into English. Elyon is generally associated with:  exalted - most high - far above any other name or God. Here's a couple of Scriptures that should give you an idea about usage:

Psalms 7:17 KJV  I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.

Psalms 97:9 KJV  For thou, LORD, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.

I didn't find anything on the other two words. I'll guess that they're something other than English. Sorry I couldn't help on the other two, but I did try.
