HARVEST

            The fields are ripe
            The harvest's here
            But who is there to reap
            The countless land
            Of ripened corn
            That ends up in a heap
            If only we were energised
            To activate our calling
            We could change their destiny
            Preventing them from falling
            Into the bowels of darkness
            That seems to be their fate
            The gospel preached into their lives
            Would mean it's not too late
            To turn around and choose the One
            Who sent His only child
            To give us all another chance
            To be God reconciled.
