Hi to all , and to me Acts 9:17 is clear , because it is talking about the  "  filling of  (  the  )   Holy Spirit  and is not water Baptism and have an  OP THAT ADDRESSES THAT !!

And in Acts 22:16 , it says that "   arise , and be Baptized , and wash away thy sins , calling on the name of the Lord ."

On Friday , Dec 24 I received the Journal of  Pauline Dispensationalism and is a good answer to duval continuing question ,  on who applies the Blood at salvation !!!

And 1 Cor 6:11  says  " We are  washed  "   and such were some of you  "  .   But you were  WASHED  .

Salvation is in  VIEW  HERE .

This  "  washing  "  is done by the  blood of Christ .

The Holy Spirit  applies the  BLOOD  to us as a cleaning  agent ,   WASHING  away our sins .   There is no water implied in this verse .

This is just one of 130 spiritual blessing  " in Christ  "  that we receive at the point of salvation ,  dan p

Hi Dan

Methinks one should less time reading such things as  the "JOURNAL OF PAULINE DISPENSATIONALISM" and much more time reading the scripture.   Jesus said "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.  And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life."

I am well acquainted with I Cor.6:9-11. Please note, says NOTHING about the baptism of the Holy Spirit, drather it says " _ _ _ and by the pirit of our God."  Do you not recognize the fact that there are different admininstations or gifts of the Spirit??   Has your "Journal" not covered this truth?

God bless'duval
