the answer to that question depends on 'who God is?'.....if you mean God as in the God of the Christian, then your answer is yes. If you mean God as in the God of the mormon, or jehovah witness, then your answer would be no.

it all depends on what you think of Christ?
there are Christians that beleive in Christ' s Deity and there are Christians that strip Christ of his Deity.

Hmmm.... seems to me that if we CAN'T know God then we're in mighty big trouble...

When the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. They shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power (2 Thessalonians 1:7-9).

Even MORE important is the flip-side... Does God know us?Huh

Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many miracles in your name?’ Then I will declare to them, “I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers” (Matthew 7:21-23)

Yes, we can KNOW God and, No, we cannot KNOW God...

Can you say dichotomy?Huh Smiley

God Bless,

-Samson

Well said Samson  Smiley

Jam 2:23  And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

The Lord intensely desires our intimate fellowship, even though He needs nothing from us.  That is the marvel of His grace! ~ amen Sower

We can only know God in the person of Jesus Christ. Once we receive the Holy Spirit, we now not only have access to God, but we have the Spirit of God in us. That spirit gives me peace, thankfulness, joy, hope, love, and discernment. The Muslims, Jews, and pagans do not know God's spirit unless they have received it from Christ in which case they would know that Christ is telling the truth that He is the only way to God.
