I sure wish Jesus would come soon!

You don’t know HOW MANY times I have voiced (or thought) that exact sentiment.

Unfortunately (Jesus forgive me) I often do it out of selfishness; I am sick and tired of getting up and going to work, or I am sick and tired of this dog-eat-dog world, or I am disgusted with the evening news, or I am afraid of what will happen tomorrow.  See what I mean by ‘selfish’ reasons – it is all I, I, I, I!

Praise the Lord, the last few years I have been learning to ask Jesus to come soon to relieve the suffering of others – so “His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven” – rather than my selfish reason that: life sucks sometimes”.

Sigh.  Sad  I have so far to go.

Good thing He takes us "Just as we are".  Smiley

I, too, pray often for the speedy return of Christ.  At the same time, though, we need every moment of the time we have left to bring more souls into the Kingdom for the glory of the Lord.

Oklahoma Howdy to Marc,

AMEN BROTHER!

As Brother Allinall said, I do love to say and dwell on

KEEP LOOKING UP!

Our trials and sorrows during our short journey on earth are nothing in comparison to THE PEACE AND JOY of ETERNITY WITH OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST.

This world is getting more evil by the second, but one way or another we won't be here long. I'm ready for "The Roll to be called up Yonder".

Thanks be unto GOD for HIS unspeakable GIFT!

Love In Christ,
Tom
