Hello everyone!

My is name is Lynette, but the group can call me Nettie Lynn if they choose to. I reside in Michigan with my husband of 8  years and our 15 year old daughter. I just turned 44 in Nov. and my husband will be 72 in March. I'm attending college, majoring in business administration. I usually only take 6 credit hours, but this passing semester, I decided to take 12 hours.
It was very tough, but all praises be to God, for helping me pass all of my classes. Hopefully, I only have about 3 more semesters to go. I've been part of a prayer team for almost 2  years now.  Four (4) of us meet up on the prayer line early mornings to pray and intercede for others and whatever else the Holy Spirit leads us to pray for. Lately, I've been praying every morning on my own, due to schedule changes and other reasons. One of my prayer partners still have prayer with me on Wednesday's, and I am grateful for that. I just want to be lead by God to do whatever work he would have me to do for Him.
God bless you all & I'm sincerely looking forward to being apart of the forum.

Welcome to the forums, Lynette. That's quite an age difference between you and your husband, 44 and 72.

Yes there is quite an age difference. We met at church, and started spending a lot of time together as friends. We did not want to give place to the devil, so we hoped & prayed that getting married would be the right thing to do for us. Later, we realized that just because God sends someone in your life for a season, doesn't mean it's ment to be for a life time. Well, nevertheless, we made a vow, and God said, it's better to have never made one than to break it.  Ecclesiastes 5:5 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay After almost 8 years of marriage, we are just beginning to share a real marriage in the Lord and still have a ways to go. Be bless!

Hello Nettie Lynn,

WELCOME!

I'm late in welcoming you because I've been out of state with my kids and grandkids for Christmas. I hope that you enjoy Christians Unite, and I look forward to having fellowship with you.

Love In Christ,
Tom
